Super Smash Bros: The Movie is a 3D-Animated Project. It will be an action-adventure animation based around the World of Light mode in Smash Ultimate. Currently I plan for it to be as close to the cutscenes in-game as possible. I also plan for it to be around a normal movie length.
Note for VA's: For all of the auditions, please look through the reference material and don't hesitate to use as many lines as you want from anywhere. As long as it fits the character! Oh and please leave your discord and/or other forms of contact in your submission. As for mic quality? As long as it isn't on a phone or something I have no objections. Anyways have fun!
Note for Artists, Animators, and Video Editors: People who can help with 3D Art/Animation, Music, Video Editing, and Anything that will help create the actual visual content WILL be paid from the revenue made from the finished product no matter what! Most talents will suffice as long as it isn't AI.
Some extra things to note: The usage of Ai generated content will not be sufficient for an audition of any kind, and will be dismissed. This project is a fan-made passion project designed to gather fans of the franchise together to create something out of love for the series. Payment can be figured out when revenue is made from the final product. Thank you for understanding.
While I the team and I are working on things like scripts, storyboards, 3d model rigs, etc, I think there is a bit more wiggle room for some more auditions. I'm going to do my best to spread the word about the project so hopefully the va community can help fill out the last few voices needed for minor roles.
Btw I have casted for Terry, Byleth, and Mythra. Min-Min and the extra voices are still open!
I know it's a bit late, I had a few things get in the way, but I'm currently talking amongst the team and getting ready to cast! Be expecting roles to be casted within the next 24 hours!
While we already have some help with this, It would be amazing to have some extra sets of hands to work on the 3d animation. Think close to SFM content, Blender animation, or even something like Glitch Productions does (if you can, but it's not a requirement). If you can manage something like that, we could use your help. We aren't going for a masterpiece here, just something similar to the cutscenes in Smash Ultimate, but nothing too fancy or high-budget. Please keep in mind the project is on a very low budget, and we are looking for passionate fans to help create something cool for their portfolio. With that being said, Ai will NOT be tolerated and will be dismissed immediately.
Note: Once revenue is gained from the project, 3D Animators will be paid, However this project for now has no budget. Please keep this in mind, thanks!
