Super Smash Bros. Episode 1: The New Apprentice
Project Overview
Introducing the official Super Smash Bros. SFM series that is being directed and created by me. This project will not be discontinued unless there are technical issues. Enjoy the countless stories that will be told based off of my own personal vision through the power of images. This style of SFM animation is rarely, if at all performed and is essentially where the story is told through images made in SFM rather than full-on animation. It's a real time saver and can result in higher quality imagery when it comes to things such as fight scenes or intense moments in the episodes. Below are all the confirmed characters that will be featured in a collection of episodes. However, the first episode only includes 4 of the 40 characters seen in the image, with more appearing in future episodes.
This first episode in the Smash Bros. SFM series reflects on the events that occurred on Final Destination and takes place in between the story of Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl but in a fractured psyche format. Follow Marth on his grand search for his next apprentice, as Ike clammers up the ladder in hopes to dual Marth 1v1, while The Black Knight watches in the shadows, plotting his attack on the Archanean Kingdom.

Although he is of royal blood, Prince Marth still lives with the burden of loss. His former apprentice, Roy had been slain by the legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo, and was swallowed into a void never to be seen from again. Since that dreadful day, Marth has struggled to stay focused in the heat of battle and in his position of power and is in search of a new apprentice to teach his ways to before he steps down as Prince from old age. He has a very stoic personality and is not typically the type to initiate a battle unless provoked. He takes matters into his own hands when necessary and has strong leadership skills. He is trusted by almost everyone he has met in and outside of his kingdom, Archanea.

I have no family. (Pause, then saddening tone) At least, not anymore...
You believe you can take my place on the Archanean Throne? Prove yourself to me then.
You remind me of my last protege... I digress, you have impressed me, Ike.
Ike is known for his feats of strength used in battle and has the nickname: The Radiant Hero of Legend from his heroic acts in 2005. While humble of his accomplishments, Ike currently seeks valuable recognition for his heroism, and may have found it within Marth's apprenticeship search. Ike also commonly trains with his good friend, Pit from time to time to hone his craft. He is a humble swordsman but isn't afraid to back down from a fight. He has immense power in each slash from his sword and can create eruptions of blue flames when using the power of Aether.

I fight with my friends. It would appear that you do not. Am I wrong?
I should take up this opportunity that the Prince of Archanea(Ar-Kane-Eeah) has laid out for me.
(Shouting) Rage Aether!!
Roy is the former apprentice of Prince Marth of Archanea. Roy had shown promising potential, but unfortunately flew too close to the sun, challenging the legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo and failing to defeat him. However, his death was not in vain, for he died a hero, taking Mewtwo with him into a dark void that sucked them both into it, never to be seen again. Roy is a brave, slightly immature, but loyal swordsman, who can be overconfident sometimes, and can be short fused if he reaches a boiling point of frustration.

(Echoing) Marth!... Marth help me!
(Echoing) I won't let you down, Marth... I promise...
I don't fear you, Mewtwo. *Coughs* (Shouts) I will, (grunts in pain) never surrender!! (Begins to get choked)
The Black Knight is an imposing force of strength and might in the collided universe. Formerly known as Zelgius, Black Knight had stayed hidden from figures of royal power, awaiting the precise moment to strike. He is longtime rivals with Ike, and hopes to usurp the throne of Archanea from Marth's hands, no matter what it takes. He cannot do it alone however, so he scouts areas of the Smash Universe in search of accomplices to help him invade the kingdom of Archanea. He is always two steps ahead of his opponent, and never cowers away from battle.

What a pitiful sight. Watching Marth mourn the death of the fallen years afterwards. How pathetic.
Ike, the man who defeated the legendary Black Knight, is the new apprentice? Hmph. I expected more.
It's only a matter of time before the opportunity arises to take what is rightfully mine.
The legendary psychic type of Pokémon, Mewtwo is one half of the Melee legend known as The Void of Nightmares Tragedy. An event that occurred 20 years ago where Marth's apprentice, Roy and Mewtwo had a heated battle on Final Destination and were sucked into a black void by a mysterious force that is still unknown to this day, never to be heard from again. They are both presumed dead to the entire Smash Universe. Mewtwo speaks with other beings telepathically and is easily manipulated by others to feel and act a certain way towards others.

You really think your binding blade can match up to my skill's boy? Foolish.
I am the strongest Pokémon that walks the universe. A puny boy with a sword and armor cannot defeat me.
(Mocking) Is that fear I sense in your body? Do I intimidate you?
