Project Overview
Hey everyone! This is AnimeDude241, also known on Youtube as SynchroProdigy and welcome to this casting call page for the Super Mario Bros Super fandub.
For those who don't know, Super Mario Bros Super is a fan-made sprite animated web-series created by SmasherBlock on Youtube. Episode 1 of his series just came out recently and after watching it, me and another Youtuber who goes by the name AnAnimatedGamer couldn't help but to plan out a fully dubbed episode of it! This is where you guys come in.
Since the first episode is the only episode out there at the moment, I will only list the characters that debut in that episode only. Future auditions for the dub will be posted as more episodes get released.
DISCLAIMER: Super Mario Bros. Super is created and is property of SmasherBlock. This fandub is purely made for entertainment purposes and the creator shall be credited in every episode.
Here are the rules:
-You must have a mic with superb quality. If you're a voice actor, you don't wanna accidentally record lines with any background noise. Audio that's crystal clear is crucial!
-You must have Discord. It'll be easier to contact you when you get the lines done.
-Stay in character. It's very important to stay true to the actual characters from their respectful franchise.
-And last, but definitely not least, have fun! ^^

Toadette is a recurring Toad character in the Mario franchise. Originally introduced as a playable racing partner for Toad in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, she has since appeared in other games as a playable character and has played supporting roles in several titles, and as a main character in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. While she has very similar traits to other characters, she is the most commonly recurring female Toad in the Mario franchise. Like Toad, there are different varieties of Toadette. This Toadette who appears in Super Mario Bros. Super is the mother of the child Toad.
Voice and impression: Her voice must sound like how it is in the games. This specific Toadette should also have a motherly impression.

Mecha Sonic is a recurring antagonist from the Sonic series. He serves as the secondary antagonist in the video game Sonic and Knuckles and he is the second robotic replica of Sonic created by Dr. Eggman, the first being Silver Sonic. Mecha Sonic is more commonly known for his ruthless and cold personality and is absolutely hellbent in collecting all the chaos emeralds, even if it takes massacring millions.
Voice: Mecha Sonic's voice should sound menacing with a deep tone and a robotic filter put into it. It's also worth noting that his voice should sound akin to Cooler from Dragon Ball Z.
One Chaos Emerald down. Now to find the rest of them.

Alex Draconis
Goombas are one of the major species of the Mario Franchise. They resemble small, brown mushrooms and are a fungus-based species, quite similar to that of Toads. Goombas have little to no physical strength, so they can be taken out with a single stomp. Like the Koopa Troopa, these little guys are iconic.
Voice Range: This Goomba's voice should have a deep tone put into it.

Paragoombas are Goombas that have small wings protruding from either their head or torso. Just like Koopa Paratroopas, they jump up and down and shed their wings. They change into their regular form when they get stomped on the head.
Voice and impression: For this Paragoomba, I imagined him having a mid-deep, sneezy-like voice, with a New Jersey accent.

Koopa Troopas are turtle-like creatures with removable shells that come in many different colors, with red and green Koopa Troopas being the most common. They are common enemies in the Mario Franchise, and are one of the many soldiers who are servants of Bowser. Like the goomba, these guys are the most iconic.
Voice and Impressions: Give your own take of what this specific Koopa Troopa would sound like.

Chem is a koopa with Earth bending capabilities. His appearance looks like that of a Soopa Striker from Super Paper Mario, however the design is all he shares with them as Chem is a special case thanks to his ability to manipulate earth elements. In Super Mario Bros. Super, Chem makes an appearance as some sort of leader of a forest and protects his comrades from Mecha Sonic.
Voice: Have his voice exactly like how it's portrayed in the episode. I'll leave a link here for reference.

Lakilester is Mario's eighth and last party member in Paper Mario. Lakilester is a portmanteau of Lakitu and Lester, and is probably a pun on "lackluster". Lakilester is a partner who joins Mario after Mario defeats him, as well as abandoning the antagonists to do so. In Super Mario Bros. Super, Lakilester is the announcer and referee of the second Mushroom Kingdom Smash Tournament.
Impression: Lakilester should have a voice of high tension, similar to that of Hizashi Yamada from My Hero Academia

Super, Kirby makes a brief cameo fighting Mario in the tournament.

Blue Toad and Yellow Toad reprise their roles as playable characters in New Super Mario Bros. U, and have appeared in various other games as well. He's one of the main characters in Super Mario Bros. Super.
Voice and impression: Try giving Blue Toad a voice that's a mixture between an average Toad's voice and a voice that's similar to that of Krillin from the Dragon Ball Franchise.

Rawk Hawk, also known as the "Feral Nuclear Reactor", is the reigning champion in the Glitz pit in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door as well as the reigning champion in the Mushroom Kingdom Smash Tournament in Super Mario Bros. Super. In the game, Mario arrives to take his title. Mario does this in order to obtain the Gold Star, which is supposedly found on the Champ's Belt, which only the champion is allowed to wear. In Super, Rawk Hawk challenges Mario to a battle in hopes of reclaiming his belt.
Impression: For Rawk Hawk's voice, give your best impression of Hercule Satan from the Dragon Ball series.
