Project Overview

Welcome to the Casting Call for the Unofficial English Dub of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Big Bang Mission!


We are looking for voice actors who are willing to commit to a long term project. Our philosophy is to always aim for the best quality possible, combined with a swift workflow. DBLiveOnline is the YouTube channel that consists of 4 creators, around 20 voice actors and two to three writers. We currently sit at 17,800 subscribers and our episodes have around 100k views on average. We always treat our cast and crew with the upmost respect and so far, all of us have become great friends since the birth of this channel. Do you want to work with us? Then feel more than free to audition for any role you like!

Last but not least, we are looking for passionate and experienced (voice) actors who have a good microphone. We prefer XLR's, but we still tolerate good USB microphones. But, If your microphone isn't up to par and sounds bad, I don't think this is the project for you. In addition to acting skills, you need to be able to scream like the cast of Dragon Ball Super / Z does. If you are not able to, please be aware we might not want to work with you, or won't work with you.



Quality requirements:

  • Noise reduction / removal. (No artifacts allowed.).

  • Normalize your audio recording to -3 db. We don't like it when we can barely hear you.

  • No clipping / peaking. (Make sure you set the volume and gain to a very low setting when screaming, and sit further away from your microphone).- No fake screaming. If your neighbors can't hear you, you are doing it wrong.

  • Good acting. We require experienced actors who know how to convey emotion.

    Though, since we're still waiting on Episode 20 to be finished production, we wanted to let you know that we will consider our choices very carefully since there's a lot of competition here!

    Thank you all so, so much for all your wonderful auditions. Today I will respond to each and every individual audition to give credit where it's due and to ask for possible revisions.

We're looking for a medium pitched / deep pitched female voice actor, who can sound menacing but at the same time super calm and collected. You'll also be challenged to perform some screams and yells. Do you have what it takes?

Direction Line 1: We want you to sound very determined and serious, but at the same time, desperate. Furthermore, take your time with this line, it doesn't have to be read quickly. Slow and steady!


Direction Line 2: This line should be delivered soft spoken, with a menacing undertone and she enjoys the thought of this particular idea.


Direction Line 3: If you can't scream, don't even bother. We're looking for talent that can both act and scream.

I changed the first line, the reason is I really didn't like that line as much as the very popular and epic line that I chose to replace it with. Those who've already auditioned won't have to re audition but they are free to if they'd like. If you auditioned with the old line, you'll be considered just as much as the next guy.



We're looking for a strong, medium pitched male voice that doesn't deviate too far from the original English dub. Though, it doesn't have to be a direct impression, original voices are just as acceptable!

Direction Line 1: Cocky and stoic.


Direction Line 2: Calm and respectful.

We're looking for a clear, high pitched child-like voice that doesn't sound too on the nose. So, don't go and overdo the child-like aspect and keep it natural.
