Sunset Motel
Project Overview
Hey everyone!
We’d love to invite you to audition for a role as one of the guests at our Sunset Motel! Sunset Motel is a simulation game where the player takes over a rundown motel that’s seen better days. The gameplay focuses heavily on renovating the place – but once the first rooms open up, guests start arriving. That’s where you come in!
We’re looking for voices to bring these guests to life – complimenting the player when they do a great job, or showing your outrage when things go wrong.
We have 10 roles to fill: 5 male voices and 5 female voices.
Here are the recording details:
You’ll be recording remotely, of course.
We’ll be working with you based on a freelance contract with copyright transfer. If you’re selected, we’ll send the agreement for your review.
Our preferred payment method is PayPal, so please make sure you have an active account before submitting your application.
The deadline will be set after casting ends. You’ll have about a week to deliver the lines after signing the contract – with the option to extend if needed.
We’re happy to sign a Nava AI rider. Your recordings will only be used as part of the Sunset Motel game’s voice-over.

The friendly Cleaner is every Sunset Motel player’s best buddy. He’s the one who welcomes the player to the motel and guides them through all aspects of the job with helpful advice.
We’re looking for a voice actor who can bring out both sides of this character – the warm, positive “uncle” type who walks the player through things step by step with a calm, reassuring tone.
This is a male role, and we’re specifically looking for voices that sound mature – the Cleaner isn’t an grandpa, but he’s definitely past 40.
The Janitor is an NPC who reads tutorial lines to the player. So we’re looking for someone who can speak clearly and calmly, with good diction – but also someone who can add a bit of flavor and personality to these otherwise dry tutorial lines, so the player doesn’t get bored.
We’d like you to submit two takes:
A. A calmer version (but still with some life to it – not flat like a narrator)
B. A version with a bit more character (but not too much – don’t go full cartoon!)
The role of the Cleaner includes 37 lines, with a total length of 859 words.
