SUNLIT MOON PILOT
Project Overview
Sunlit Moon is a fantasy-adventure animated series aimed at teens and adults.
The plot is built around the reaction everything in their world has to the reintroduction of magic.
It has lots of mystery and occasional spooky moments, focussing on building an immersive atmosphere. There’s plenty of wholesome parts and comedic bits as well.
It is a blend of serialised and episodic; each magic anomaly is it’s own story, but the episodes come together to form an overarching narrative, and it becomes increasingly serialised as it goes on.
It is similar to stories like Gravity Falls, Wolfwalkers, and Lord of the Rings.
It is an LGBT story that isn’t purely about romance.
Sunlit Moon deals with themes of mental health, identity, masculinity, found family, and connection to nature.

Tusk is one of the main three characters from my show concept, SUNLIT MOON. He is the quietest of the group, tending to express more via body language and slightly animalistic huffs and grunts, but he does have a few spoken lines.
This role is a one-off for the pilot episode, which aims to give a rough idea of what the full show could look like.

(Matter-of-factly, as if he’s teaching you while you walk through the woods): “My mother used to tell me if you need a drink while you’re out and about, to look for frogs. Frogs don’t like dirty water.”
(Sighing in complete disappointment, the kind of sigh only an exhausted father would do): “They’re just kids. Odd, large, very… very stupid kids.”
( Complete and utter disbelief): “Never before have I seen someone stumble about so much while completely sober. ”
Robin is a trans masc character. He's loud and sure of himself, but not without occasional voice cracks and an occasional scratchy sound to his voice. He needs to encompass the frustration that comes with hitting puberty a 2nd time in your early 20's. He's cheerful and generally friendly, but has BIG emotions and gets angry very easily.
