Hello! I'm Moth! Lovely to meet you all. This will be my first project I will actively seek voice acting talent for. The storyboard is still in its infancy stage but I am wanting to get it voiced.
I have an alternate-universe (commonly known as 'au's) that takes place in the Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel (Hellaverse) series by VivziePop. It borrows certain ideas such as the setting in Hell, the existence of demons, and the structure of the different Ring populations. This storyboard references this setting and will use characters based on the species, so knowledge of this is very prudent and important. I do not claim any ownership other than my own characters that have been created.
Because the voice acting talent will be paid out of my own pocket and this is not a professionally funded pocket, I am expecting microphones to be able to record performances with none to limited background interference. The dialogue will be sent upon successful auditions and will indicate the emotions/tones the characters will be using.
AuditionsWhile there are some lines to refer to in each character section, please feel free to add some flair and do custom lines as well if you'd like!
If voice actor is selected, a payment for an hour will be processed prior to any recording. This is due to currently each character has only about ten sentences of dialogue each. However, for "Male Imp Demon" and "Female Demon" this is likely to change and may have more lines added for credit-epilogue narration.
I want the voice actors to be paid prior to any recording.

Very serious and deadpan, doesn't often have too much emotion in his voice. Usually has a lot of sarcasm. Imp demon. Works in the Sloth ring, under the Sin Belphegor as her assistant/partner/cleaner of messes. In present day, has known her for over six years.
Notes: Almost 30 years olde present day.
Range: Older than teenage voice in terms of sound.

Sweet, compassionate, and warm personality. Does not get too angry often and cares very much about those close to her. A moth demon who comes from the Sloth ring. Not much is known about her but she seems to be in a relationship with Deckard?

To start: I listed this unpaid because I don't feel comfortable labeling with an exact amount. I understand animation takes time and effort, so to establish the payment, I am asking people to tell me their rates.
When I listed this project, I already had an artist that I would be paying for the project. Unfortunately, they had to drop this due to private issues happening in their life and I truly wish them the best. As it stands, I no longer have an artist currently to work on the storyboard now. For the sake of transparency, anyone wishing to apply MUST be willing to partake in a payment-plan system. I truly understand how this might scare off people and I can't fault them especially in a fragile economy like this where job security is painfully rare. I definitely want to make sure the artist is paid, so we can definitely negotiate the terms, frequency and amounts of payments. Because of this, my approach won't be micromanaging and will give you, as the artist, the space you may need within a reasonable timeframe. To make sure it's clear, payment WILL be given before any work is started. If needed, I can provide references to artists I have commissioned, including animated works.
However, I still ask that any concerns or issues be communicated to me--I have lost a parent, lost a car, lost multiple pets, had many health issues over the span of my life, so I get that life can happen and put us in binds! Just please make sure if plan to commit to this, communicate with me!
What I am looking for: I also understand that each artist is so unique so I am not expecting or requesting identical styles, but somewhere in the realm of this type of storyboarding! Example 1 Example 2 Example 3
If selected, the artist will be provided an entire outline I put together, as well as the script and voice dialogue prepared to establish the direction of the scene. There isn't an exact amount decided at the moment due to still needing some voice lines recorded, but it's estimated to be in the realm of 5-6 minutes. With the success and completion of this storyboard, I would also like to discuss down the line of having a transformation sequence featured here to be fully animated, so please bear that in mind!
