Hello! Moonlit Sun here, running a casting call for my friends project! Yes this is NOT my project, I am simply helping my friend out. However I wish you all the best of luck with auditioning! Please make sure to have fun and share with others who may be interested in participating!
{About:}
"Stories About You" is about Andrea, a young teenage girl, and her family who lost their father to WWll. Andrea and her brother, Antonio, find her father's journal. Millions and millions of secrets are unlocked. Is Andrea ready to face what will happen in the future or will she not be able to figure it out? ... Before it's too late...
{Rules:}
1. Acting: As this is a VOICE ACTED mini-movie, you should be able to show GREAT EMOTIONS into your lines as possible.
2. Auditioning: You can audition for as many characters/places as you'd like!
3. Quality: Please have little to no background noise (Including static, glitches, etc.) Filter this out by using a MICROPHONE.
4. Timing: If accepted, PLEASE record and submit your lines on time.
5. Dedication: By auditioning, you are ACCEPTING to be part of this project. This project may be a long term project, however, it is NOT a SERIES. It is a MOVIE.
6. Communication: Please include your discord tag in the notes of your audition as this is how we will be getting in touch with you if you are cast.
7. Age: We'd prefer it if you were 13+ as most of the characters are TEENS except for the children VAs.

Andrea Larey is a kind girl. She is very caring and can take a motherly role when needed. She dislikes messes and the world full of hate. However she does really enjoy going to the cafe for a milkshake.
Vocal: Medium-Low (Preferably Medium)
(Hurried) "Iβm coming mom just gotta finish something real quick!"
(Narrating) "Dear Diary... October 15th, 1942.. I did not eat breakfast this morning since I decided that I was not hungry, my brother, Antonio, walked with me to the school building since he did not want mother to walk with us as well. He did not want to walk either, he said the strangest thing like, "Hey sis.. What if.."
(Saddened; Gets angry towards the end) "Why would you leave us..? Why would you leave ME?"
Antonio is loving and kind around his family, especially Andrea, however he is VERY cold and rude to others.
Vocal: Medium-Low
(Happy then annoyed) "Yes! Thank you mother. And please do not call me that, I'm thirteen."
(Amused/Thinking out loud) "What if there was this thing that people could stand on, but ride like a car except you can carry it! Like it would be able to carry you and you can carry it! I thought-"
(Cold) "Look, I do not remember the last time I cared about when we used to do that."
Ingrid is the mother of Andrea and Antonio. She is the normal, loving, caring mother. However, she can get mad easily, but she only wants the best for her family.
Vocal: Low-Medium
"Oh alright dear, as for you Antonia, could you put plates on the table?"
(Calling) "Andrea, darling! Antonia! Please come downstairs for supper!"
(Angered) "How could you say that?! I know it wasn't perfect, but sometimes you just have to believe that it is."
Alec is the kind and loving father of the Larey family. However he sadly passes away during WWll, fighting for his country. He gives his children a gift before he goes...
Vocal: Low-Medium
(Inspiring) "My children, one day, when I am gone.. I want you to open this gift.. BUT ONLY when I'm gone-"
(Saddened but hiding it) *Laughs* "That's nice, my sugar plum,"
(Explaining) "Well you see, she is technically supposed to be dead if she does that."
Blake is an introverted nerd. Actually, he just enjoys reading, otherwise, he can be very cold and stubborn towards mainly, everyone. Although he may look cold, Blake has a soft spot for certain animals and people.
Vocal: Low-Medium
(Annoyed) "Can you leave me be? I can't hear my books."
(Correcting) "It's 'You're' not 'your'. You said, 'your' NOT 'you're.'."
"It's physics, duh."
Elina can be VERY serious and stubborn. She is also very smart and creative however.
Vocal: Medium-High (A British Accent would be preferred)
(Angry/Annoyed) "You don't know EVERYTHING about this so stop acting like you do."
(Interrupted) "Stop talking and let me finish."
(Excited) "One day, I'm going to make an object that can fly! And no one is going to tell me off."
Becky is spoiled. She can be REALLY mean and rude to everyone. She makes everything about her. But hidden down inside her, she feels really insecure and upset.
"Does it look like I care about that."
(Questioning/Annoyed) "Do you REALLY feel the need to do that?"
(Inspired) "Who are you?"
Jenny enjoys having fun. She is most of the time careless and gullible. She is also a VERY clumsy and sometimes has absolutely NO common sense.
(Excited, but misses it) "Oooh! I got it! I got it!" (...) "I don't got it-"
(Trying to be inspiring) "Sometimes when you look at the stars, do you ever think that they are your ancestors."
(Desperate) "I just want to get out of here! Please..."
Jeff is basically the same as Jenny, fun and careless. He can be VERY mean when he's annoyed or angered. However he can be serious when needed and he does have common sense. Most of the time, the party doesn't start until he walks through the door.
Vocal: Medium-High (Preferably Medium)
(Enthusiastic) "AYO! Jeff has entered the chat!"
(Stern) "Look Andrea- or whoever you are. You are not a member here. You CANNOT just walk in here like you own the place."
(Annoyed) "Sometimes your face just annoys me."
Jaquline is short and she has MAJOR anger issues when it comes to you calling her "short". She will pounce on you. She is very feisty, but can be sweet and manipulative if she wants to be.
Vocal: High-Medium
(Angry) "Say that one more time. I DARE YOU."
(Disgusted) "Ew, no way I will date YOU."
(Happy) "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Jack is loyal and compassionate. Once he has his mind set on something, he will stop AT NOTHING to get it done and completed.
Vocal: Medium
(Desperate) "Please tell me! I NEED to know!"
(Sad) "I-I guess you're right.. I- can't do everything.."
(Determined) "Nothing is going to stop me. And neither are you."
Zack is helpful, independent, and kind. He has a WIDE vocabulary. He will gladly help those in need and barely ever gets mad, but when he is mad, RUN TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE EARTH (Even that is not safe) TRAVEL OVER A BILLION MILES TO JUPITER (Maybe even that is not safe) NO WHERE IS SAFE WHEN HE IS MAD
Vocal: Any
(Kind) "Oh here! Let me help you with that!"
(Saddened) "She- left my heart vacant... and I haven't trusted anyone ever since."
(Smart-Alek-y) "This is not going to work" (Person tries) "I told you so."
The cashier should sound like your typical store cashier.
Vocal: Any
"Your total will be fifty three dollars."
"I understand ma'am, however you cannot take the merchandise out of the store without paying."
"Welcome! Did you find everything okay?"
Queen Camila is your average AMAZING queen. She is very calm and organized. Although she can be very suspicious and skeptical at times, that is just the way she was raised as a queen.
Vocal: Low-Medium
(Welcoming) "Good morning my dears,"
(Formal) "What may I assist you with on this lovely evening?"
(Angered/But keeping her cool) "You shall leave the kingdom! You are banished.''
Lima is very smart. She tends to correct people even if they don't like it. She is not very fond of people and is VERY introverted and shy around strangers.
Vocal: Medium-High (She is Malaysian so it would be preferred if you could attempt an accent, but you don't HAVE too)
(Startled) "O-oh..! M-me..? I'm Lima."
(Whispers) "Of course! How could I have been so idiotic?"
(Carefree) "Well, hopefully you're able to correct your mistakes."
Zara is scary. She can be VERY mean, cold, and stubborn. She was born with odd eyes and she loves herself the way she is. If you argue with her, she will win.
Vocal: Low-Medium
(Calm/Annoyed) "I didn't ask you. Did I?"
(Manipulative) "If you REALLY cared, you would have remembered. Or is he nothing to you?"
(Determined/Mad) "This is GOING to work because I'M doing it!"
Mintalia is a little child. She is very clingy and loud, but she can get VERY shy around new people. She has a hard time trusting people.
Vocal: High (She's a child)
(Nervous) "H-hi ma'am, I am Mintalia.."
(Clingy) "Don't go!! We still need to play tea party!"
(Tear falls off her cheek) "You will come to visit.. r-right..?"
Felina is always bubbly, peppy, and energetic wherever she goes. She always lights up the room and can get the whole room talking in around half a second and she NEVER gets mad. (She reminds me of Pinky Pie from MLP)
Vocal: High
(Peppy) "Who's with me?"
(Energetic) "I can't wait to see that!"
(Annoyed) "Come onnnnnn! This is so boringggg,"
Autumn is very graceful, trustworthy, and reliable. She will talk if she wants too, but she dislikes sharing her opinion. However she can be very blind to others feelings and can be arrogant.
(Determined/Mad) "It's MINE and I'll do what I want."
(Caring/Supporting) "If you love it, that's perfectly normal."
(Suggesting) "... We can just start over..?-"
