About Still Here
Still Here is an original independent animated musical about Rowan, a 24-year-old wolf trying to navigate grief, change, and a world that increasingly feels unfamiliar to him.
After losing several members of his family, Rowan has developed a fear that everything good eventually disappears. Meanwhile, his hometown is falling under the influence of Mayor Vincent Strake, a charismatic tiger whose promises to restore the town's better days conceal an increasingly controlling vision for its future.
Blending comedy, drama, adventure, and original musical numbers, Still Here explores grief, nostalgia, friendship, family, and learning to move forward without forgetting what came before.
About the Production
We're currently assembling cast and crew for Phase One, with the goal of developing the story and producing a polished animated proof of concept demonstrating the intended animation, characters, performances, music, and emotional tone.
We're looking for passionate voice actors, singers, writers, artists, animators, musicians, and audio creatives who enjoy collaborative storytelling and want to help shape an original animated project from its early stages.
Still Here is currently being crowdfunded, so compensation is deferred until sufficient production funding has been secured. Expectations and compensation will be agreed upon before substantial production work begins.

Voice Actor
Wolf, male, early–mid 20s. Youthful tenor/baritone. Fast comedic delivery, mischievous and expressive, with a warmer vulnerable side underneath.
"Oh, fantastic. The mayor's giving another speech. Anybody wanna place bets on how long it takes him to say 'the good old days'?"
"Sometimes I can't remember what their voices sounded like. And then I'll say something exactly the way they used to... and for a second, they're here again."
Voice Actor
Tiger, male, approximately 40s–60s. Rich, commanding and sophisticated. Charismatic enough to inspire a crowd, but capable of becoming frightening without shouting. Strong singing ability preferred/required.
"My friends, this town doesn't need to become something new. It needs to remember what made it extraordinary in the first place."
"I gave this town order. I gave it dignity! And I will NOT stand by while children who know nothing of what we built tear it apart!"
Voice Actor
Fox, female, early–mid 20s. Energetic and witty, but grounded. Excellent chemistry with Rowan is important.
"Rowan, there's 'keeping memories,' and then there's keeping a twelve-year-old pizza receipt. At some point, you're just hoarding garbage."
"I don't need you to pretend you're okay around me. I need you to trust me enough to admit when you're not."
Voice Actor
Raccoon, male, 20s. Anxious, excitable and naturally funny. Should sound nervous rather than incompetent.
"Okay! Good news: I have a plan. Bad news: the plan assumes none of us particularly value our bones."
"Yeah, I'm scared. I'm always scared. Doesn't mean I'm leaving you here."
Voice Actor
Bear, female, approximately 50s–70s. Warm, lived-in voice. Maternal without becoming stereotypically grandmotherly. Singing ability preferred.
"Your uncle tried fixing that roof himself once. We spent three hours getting him out of the chimney."
"Missing someone isn't proof that you haven't moved on, Rowan. Sometimes it's just proof that they mattered."
Voice Actor
Coyote, male, 30s–50s. Controlled, understated and impeccably polite. The less he sounds like he's trying to be intimidating, the better.
"Mayor Strake appreciates your cooperation. He also appreciates punctuality. At present, you've provided neither."
"You mistake my politeness for kindness. Please don't make that mistake twice."
Artist
Responsible for creating expressive storyboards for the Still Here proof of concept, including character acting, shot composition, camera movement, and musical sequences. Must be comfortable working from scripts, character references, and creative direction.
