Steven Tuneverse is a singing group dedicated to producing Steven Universe song covers and parodies in the voices of the characters. However, we’re missing one crucial part: the singers! We need you, the very talented SU fandom, to audition to be a part of our group. All gems, fusions, and recurring humans are available to audition for, though only the gems and some humans are listed here.
To audition, just sing a song in the voice of the character, whether it be a song from the actual show or one you just think feels right for them, and record a short portion of the character's lines from the show. You can audition here or check us out at steventuneverse.tumblr.com for additional information and different ways to submit auditions.
Just as a note, deadlines will be posted on the tumblr, so if you're wondering how long you have for a specific character, you should check there. The "deadline" here on CCC is just an arbitrary date and I will most likely be pushing it back further as time goes on.
I know at the beginning of this project I said deadlines would be sporadic and be posted on the blog, but life and exhaustion have kept me from staying on top of that, so as for now, all auditions will be listened to once this casting call ends on the 31st, and we'll put up a new call soon after with the remaining characters. Thank you all for auditioning and thank you for being patient about this project not taking off as fast as it should have.
With new episodes come new songs! Ruby, Sapphire, and Peridot, who all now have canon singing voices, have reference clips for auditions. Also, despite that on the blog I said Peridot would be cast a while ago, I've decided to keep her open for a little while longer since her singing style has been revealed.
