STATION 8 - (Horror Game)
Project Overview
STATION 8 is a computer programming project of mine I am creating using Python. It focuses on a new employee in a remote area of the north pole. Your objective is to complete small tasks and do systems checkups. That is until an unusual event occurs. The station head quickly sends each station an email, carefully instructing a protocol none of them have heard of. Something is roaming the facility, and you must continue with your work to survive. Traverse through a text-based and point-and-click adventure horror game, communicate with other stations and keep each other alive.

Thank you so much to everyone who offered their voices for this project. It means a lot to me, and is helping to create one hell of a final school project. Make sure to join the discord linked in the description, for frequent updates, and a copy / link to the game itself for you to play. Speaking of updates, here's a tweet of some early gameplay footage: https://twitter.com/CatNamedCheete/status/1136719706465951744

Auditioning
I will be selecting actors over the next few days, by the end of the week I will have selected all who will be casted. Thank you all so much for giving me the opportunity to really flesh out my project with voice acting.
He's a charming and snarky individual who usually does the minimum amount of required of him. He's pretty laid back and lazy, but knows what he's talking about.
"Okay, so I'm just gonna give you a short briefing on your job, because I guess they can't afford more than refilling the vending machine every month."
"I know it can be sorta overwhelming at first. Being stuck in a cramped cabin... in the middle of a cold, isolated, and deserted icecap... with only a few hours of human interaction over a radio. Very fun."
A hardworking and complacant brit, usually overtired and heavily overworked. She works one of the two security stations that keeps track of the station. Her job is to surveill the area and do routine checkups on base integrity.
*Groggy and Sleepish* "Um... I'm picking up some movement near four. You think that's anything to worry about?"
Davis is a very anxious and technologically savvy person. He operates Station 6 which is in charge of maintenence for the station database, and has access to all station files. He regularily does systems checks and improves firewalls.
"Guys, what's going on? Why are we getting station alerts?" (A thud comes from outside his cabin) "The hell was that?"
Sebastion is the oldest member in the station crew, and has worked at the facility since it first came to being. He is the main analyst for the operation being conducted at the site.
"Station eight, I'm going to need some assistance. In order for this to work I need someone to work the doors and machinery inside the building. Make sure whatever it is that's here... at least doesn't find me before this is over."
A gruffy, hard-boiled worker who does most of the manual operations. He is pretty tough on most of the workers on sight, and doesn't tolerate screw-ups.
"Okay... I'm headed out. Six, make sure the hatch access ports are up to date. I don't want to walk all the way back because you slacked off."
As the station manager, Kari is a bossy and well-composed person. She upholds the responsibilities of each station member, sending hourly requests and spear-heading all operations. She often works with communications as well.
“What do you want now Charlie-- oh. Right. Hello there. You must be Nova?” *Waits for a few moments*
“When I ask a question, I don’t think it’s much to ask for a response.” *The player responds to her* "Your ComLink microphone was misplaced... Did he-- Oh goddammit Charlie.”
Roy is the security head, and is the most energetic of the crew members. He loves his work and is generally the most liked of the station members.
"No, no, no, No, NO! There's been some kind of breach, hold on I'm trying to get more details... dear god. Paul! Paul, are you at your station? Sebastion? Are they still in there Eight?"
This is a clear, concise, monotone emergency broadcast voice. You should come across serious and somehwat robotic.
*Beep* "This your emergency broadcast system issued by the United Nations." "The instructions that are about to display is for your safety."
"Lock all windows and doors." "Do not respond to the door." "Turn off your lights and electronic devices." "Do not use your phone to call 911 or anyone you know." "Do not look outside." "If you hear a noise from outside, do not search for it."
