Project Overview
Star Wars Audio Comics is proud to announce that we will be continuing our Star Wars audio comics with the Star Wars: Rise of Kylo Ren series! SWAC has been producing critically acclaimed comic series similar to this one for four years, especially Star Wars content. We are thrilled to include this story in our line up! Before we delve too far into what this project is about, we have supplied links to some of our previously completed works to give you a feel for what you will be voicing.

How it Works:
Suffice it to say, we have mastered bringing to life comics over our four year run on YouTube. We pride ourselves on our company's quality in both visuals, sound effects, music, and the most important part: the voice actors. All productions start with a highly detailed and descriptive casting call. Our typical policy is we don't cast actors until the last day of the call so everyone has plenty of time to audition. Our CC's typically last 2-3 weeks. At the end of the CC process, the Series Director will make the casting decisions based on a variety of factors such as audio quality, performance, vocal range, talent, etc. Once the casting decisions have been made, we send a link for a private Discord server where you will find your scripts, submit your lines, and meet and mingle with your fellow castmates. Deadlines will be posted for line submissions to allow voice actors time to first takes and if requested, retakes. From there it is up to the Director to bring the video to life. Production time will be as airtight as possible, so please try to have your audio in as quickly as possible so production can begin.
PLEASE NOTE: Most of the lead roles in this comic have already been cast. The only roles listed in this casting call are those not yet cast.
The Synopsis:
WITH BEN SOLO'S FALL…COMES KYLO REN'S RISE! Young Ben Solo is legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker's most promising pupil. As the son of Rebel Alliance heroes Leia Organa and Han Solo, as well as Luke's own nephew, Ben has the potential to be a great force for light in the galaxy. But the Skywalker legacy casts a long shadow, the currents of the dark side run deep, and Darth Vader's blood runs in Ben's veins. Voices call from both his past and his future, telling him who he must be. He will shatter, he will be reforged, his destiny will be revealed. Snoke awaits. The Knights of Ren await. Ben Solo's path to his true self begins here.

Ground rules:
- Please be able to get your lines in by the deadline posted by the director. Production time will be airtight!
- Have professional grade equipment or at the bare minimum make sure your audio is top notch. No background noise!
- Have a Discord or be able to create one. This allows for us to communicate and upload documents much easier than Skype or any other platform.

Tai is a human male in his twenties, and one of the students at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple. He's the kindest of Ben Solo's classmates, and the best friend that he had during his training. Tai is one of only three students besides Ben who survive the destruction of the temple, and when Ben flees the scene, Tai and his classmates pursue him in an attempt to bring him to justice.
Tai is a recurring character in the series, appearing in all four issues. He has 55 lines across the series, paying a total of $13.75.
"How is this possible?"
"Where is Master Luke, Ben? We don't sense his presence."
"Ben, please. The story you're telling us... it can't possibly be true. There must be more to what happened. The temple, Master Luke, the other students... Just talk to us."
Voe is a human female in her twenties, and one of the students at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple. She considered Ben to be her rival during their training, and always sought to surpass his skill. Voe is one of only three students besides Ben who survive the destruction of the temple, and when Ben flees the scene, Voe and her classmates pursue him in an attempt to bring him to justice.
Voe is a recurring character in the series, appearing in all four issues. She has 36 lines across the series, paying a total of $9.00.
"Help who, Hennix? I can't sense anything down there. Not even Master Luke."
"That cannot be. Master Skywalker would never hurt any of us. And you, Ben Solo, could never--"
"You're not going anywhere Ben."
Hennix is a Quarren male in his twenties, and one of the students at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple. He sees the Force as a puzzle to be solved. Hennix is one of only three students besides Ben who survive the destruction of the temple, and when Ben flees the scene, Hennix and his classmates pursue him in an attempt to bring him to justice. As a squid alien, Hennix should have a somewhat gruff and monster-ish voice.
Hennix is a recurring character in the series, appearing in three of the four issues. He has 24 lines across the series, paying a total of $6.00.
"We have to get down there. We have to help."
"Where is Master Skywalker?"
(Injured) "I feel... quite a bit, Tai! And Voe... leave off. You haven't been delicate... a day in your... life. Just get me--HHGH-- to the medbay on the Verity."
Lor San Tekka is a human male explorer and member of the Church of the Force, and an ally of Luke Skywalker and his Jedi Order. He became a believer in the ideals of the Jedi during the Clone Wars, despite not being Force-sensitive, and followed the underground faith of his church during the dark times of the Galactic Empire's rule over the galaxy. He now works alongside Skywalker to seek out Jedi and Sith temples and artifacts.

Lor San Tekka plays a minor role in one issue of the series, paying a total of $1.50.
