Project Overview

Star Wars: The Galactic Civil War is a Star Wars fan game which was started it's early access back in the beginning of 2017. The video game strives to live up to being a re-imagined version of the original Battlefront games once produced by Pandemic Studios. Star Wars: Galactic Civil War is one of the most popular games on the website IndieDB and is loved by many people.

Below we will have different characters which you can audition for. This list may be frequently updated as we make new plans for the game. We might not be casting roles directly on castingcall.club because of multiple voices needed for each character, but instead emailing you telling you that you received the role. Note that this will not be the way for all characters - only curtain roles.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Your voice must fit the tone of Star Wars. When recording lines, imagine yourself as the character and in the specific situation. This is what we look for the most.

  • Your microphone must be clear. We don't want to hear your TV in the background, and we don't want to hear people talking in the background. If you can, also try to remove all static from the audio clip you submit. We want to hear your voice and your voice only.

  • Please leave your email in the comment section of your audition. This is so we can privately email you if need be.

  • It would be helpful if you had discord as a form of contact. This is what our team uses most to chat with each other and give progress updates on the game.

    Hello everyone! Today is finally casting day! I wanted to thank all of you for all the wonderful auditions! It was really hard picking the final draft of voice actors because there was so many good auditions! If you do not get picked, do not worry! We might be editing this same casting call in the future to cast upcoming characters. That way when something is added, you will be notified (if you are following this project) and you will be able to audition again. Again, I wanted to thank you all!   • Deadline is fast approaching!

    Hello everyone!! I have a little casting update for you all. By the looks of it, we will be casting several voice actors EACH for Stormtroopers, Imperial Commanders, Rebel Alliance Soldiers, and Rebel Commanders. The only voice actor that will be cast on this form on the 10th will indeed be the Pit Droid. So how do you know if you have been cast? I will personally be privately messaging all of the casted individuals on castingcall.club, and will be sending you a link to join our voice acting discord server. Best of luck to everyone!

  • One Role Cast: Dash Rendar

    Hello everyone! Again I wanted to thank you all for all the wonderful auditions we have received so far. Casting with this many auditions is a hard job, but it's something we will get through. Congratulations to Vincent Fallow for getting cast as Dash Rendar. Your audition blew us away and we look forward to working with you. I will be contacting you shortly. As for our other roles, time is running out. No commanders or troopers will be cast until the initial deadline. And do remember, we will be casting multiple Stromtroopers and Rebel Alliance Soldiers in an update like this. So please check in frequently to see if YOU have been cast. On another note, it might take us a few days to go through all of the auditions once our initial deadline arrives. At that time we might extend the deadline a few more days so we can get as many auditions as possible. Thanks again to all of you who have auditioned so far!

  • New Character To Audition For: Pit Droid

    Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful day! Just a little update to say that the casting call has been updated to now include a Pit Droid which you can now audition for. The pit droid will be a droid that will hang out at your hideout. Thank you all for the auditions so far, the deadline date is not too far off at this point. Thanks!!

  • Dash Rendar Voice Reference

    There has been an update made to the casting call for Dash Rendar. The description has been changed to now include a voice reference video from the game "Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire". If you have previously submitted an audition and would like to redo that audition with this new voice reference, then please be my guest. We most likely will not be casting anyone new on the spot for another 2 weeks or so. But keep checking in to see if any changes has been made. Remember, we will be doing updates like this whenever something changes on this casting call.

Rebel Alliance Soldier's do what they think is right to bring balance into the galaxy. They fight with their lives, and some sacrifice themselves knowing they died for a cause worth dying for.

Stormtroopers fight with the empire to bring rule and order to the galaxy. Normally Stormtroopers  that were with the empire thought they were fighting for good.

These stormtroopers can be both male and female.

The Pit Droid is a personal refurbished droid used at the Player's hideout. It will be walking around, talking, telling stories, etc etc.

The voice of the Pit Droid should be similar to the one used in The Clone Wars https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne_y-0TmXR0 . That is more of the voice we are going to instead of the  more robotic deeper voice. We are trying to put personalty into the character.

  • Hey! Do you want to hear a story?!? Once there was a Jedi that really liked me! Not like.. they had a love interest in me.. but like they wanted to really take care of me. One day they got shot by some of our own clones. I guess they turned bad or something?? Guess that goes to show you that anyone can turn evil...

Dash Rendar was a human male smuggler and freelancer. Born into a wealthy Corellian family during the final years of the Galactic Republic, he chose to pursue a career as an officer in the Imperial Navy rather than joining the family shipping business.

The Galactic Civil War team has been looking for 3D Animators for quite a while now. If you are interested or know anyone who is interested, tell them to contact me Raiikoe#2847. The position would be unpaid, however we are all working out of our love for Star Wars and the passion to make a Star Wars game which could be seen as a predecessor to the original classic Battlefront games. What we have now should act well as a proof of concept for any animators which may be thinking about joining us. The game is still in alpha and anything could change.
