Project Overview
Please be aware that this is the pre-production stage. Only the character designer, writer, and thumbnail artist may be filled for the first wave. (You are allowed to submit stuff for roles that won't get filled in wave 1)
I want to make a partially animated series that seems to be a lost art nowadays. Back in 2011-2018 young teens would make indie projects on youtube about colorful magical animals. I noticed in the 2020s I rarely see anything about that genre anymore because now a lot of people expect everything to be good, and that 'cringe' stuff can't exist unironically. If these stories are ever made, they are usually only made ironically. I want to change that and make my own story around this genre in an unironic way. I want some help to get started. Please read any role you are interested in. Voice acting roles won't open up until we are no longer in the pre-production stage.
Writer
I would like to find someone who could help me expand my story and write lore. I do want the story to remind people of a 2013 YouTube indie series. I want it to sound like a 12 year old wrote it. While I can do this somewhat, I have a hard time coming up with ideas that aren't fragments. I don't want this series to be a joke series because I want it to bring back the time when people made things that everyone today considers cringe.
I don't expect this to be a long-term role unless you wish for it to be. I want a writer for at least episode 1

I don't need animation examples but just proof you can draw one of the following: cats, dogs, wolves etc.
I would prefer it if you could give me an example of you drawing in the art style from this image https://imgur.com/a/bOZFDds. It doesn't need to be colored. Try to find a brush close enough to the brush I used as well! For this role I want you to at least be able to draw animals and make unshaded colored fullbodies.
