What is spirit howl?
Spirit howl is an original series. It will be created by me and will hopefully have a style that is similar to a pixel styled game! Its very experimental and done with an almost 0 budget so if you apply theres sadly no payment. I will work on it alongside uni so progress may be slow but I am very excited about this project and am looking for some voice actors who would like to be apart of it!
The series is loosley based on norse myhtology and since I am Swedish some names and words that will appear might be hard to pronounce, if you speak any nordic language that is a plus but not a requierment..
(If the series takes off I would like to try having a patreon but for now I can’t promise anything.)
Its going to be about 5-7 episodes long, 5-10. mins each. (Maybe more)

Rules:
-you have to be at least 15 to tryout.
-you need to be prepared to send in your lines within 1-2 months. If you stop responding I will find a replacement before that deadline has passed. (This is to prevent project from getting delayed 3 months because a va isnt responding.)
-decent mic is a plus! No clipping
-If you have a discord that is a big plus! Email is needed for script sharing.

Edit: I should have been more clear, the rest of the "evil laugh" line was just a description as to why the character laughts :´D but no worries, it just gives me more examples of your voice if you recorded all of it pfft!

I can't say too much about her as it would be a spoiler. But I need a voice for a vengeful spirit. Someone who has been betrayed and is now filled with rage and a desire to bring justice to the wolves who wronged them. I am looking for a female voice to fit this. I imagine her to have a deep and scary voice.
-To rise from the hall of the fallen. To claim what was stolen. To make them feel the the hunger burning within. To take them down with me. (Voice sounds like its ready to break at any moment, you aren't shouting but you are full of rage.)
- *Evil laugh*
-You gave me your word. Give it to me! (Last bit is shouted, calm then goes off in annoyance.)
For this character I am looking for an older sounding voice. I imagine the mom has a deeper voice that has a slightly sarcastic and mean tone to it. A lot of the things she says are backhanded compliments and she often talks about others behind their back. She feels stuck with her husband and is bitter about her failure to “change” him into what she considers a better wolf. She can at times be controlling and dislikes when her children make decisions she doesn´t understand, since she knows best.

Despite his age he acts like a teen. He is very chill and can, at first glance seem like a cool dude. But when you get to know him you´ll come to find out he is irresponsible and doesn't seem to care about the wellbeing of others as long as he has fun. He is lazy and selfish. He wants things to stay the same as they have always been and treats his kids as adults to avoid the responsibility of parenthood and because adult activities are more fun, such as getting drunk on molted apples.
Voice needs to match this side of him but still sound older. A sort of smooth voice.

Lakes brother. They are polar opposites. The brother is outgoing but not very clever. He is mean towards his sibling and looks up to his dad most of all. He is completely influenced by his dad and sees Lake and mom as wolves who want to get in the way of fun. Deep down he is insecure about being the runt of the litter and has learned that doing weird and dangerous things gives him attention.
I am looking for a younger teen sounding voice. Often times very rude in a bully sort of way.

Before I describe Her I should make it clear I am looking for a trans woman to play her. The character is trans and I want to make sure I get them a trans va ! Its ok if you're nonbinary or a nonbinary trans woman! But If you´re a cis woman or a cis guy this role is closed off!
Tyr is very sweet. She's one of Lakes closests friends. Tyr is very much the mom friend of the group and always makes sure everyone is happy. She is very outgoing and despite acting mature in most situations when something that could potentially lead to an exciting adventure comes up, she takes the lead.
She loves hanging out with her friends and being in the forest exploring. She sometimes spends time with the elders listening to their stories and making sure they feel at home in the pack.

- Well its not going anywhere. (normal, happy)
-I wonder how tall the trees can grow if you let them. Imagine the forest if our paws didn´t trample on it. (in thoughts, enjoying nature)
Alongside Lake she is the main character. This character has a lot of energy (without being hyper) and works as a sort of comic relif. Shes an older wolf who returns to the world of the living as a ghost. She talk a lot and can at time just ramble on about whatever and get lost in her thoughts. She follows Lake and is bored with the fact that she's a ghost, meaning she can't interact with anything other than Lake. This leads to her bothering Lake, a lot.
She can come off as mean, often speaking her mind and letting everyone know exactly what she thinks. Impulsive and stubborn. Certain subjects make her upset and when Lake questions her plans she tends to snap back.
-I need your help to figure this out okay? It´ll be fun! I´ll- No listen, I´ll give you clues and then you use your clever little brain to figure it out! With the help of your working lungs and uuh blinking eyes! Good? Good. Goouud.
-Yeesh. You guys are a riot. How does the pack deal with you. (sarcastic)
-Well what was I suppose to to? You wanted me to just accept it? Huh? to rest in peace while whoever did it walks alive and free? No way!
She/they
Not much can be said about Gebo as that would be a spoiler. But Gebo is a wolf who has isolated herself after a tragic thing happened in her past. They're very gentle and careful except for when threatened, then they can become quite scary. I am looking for a mature, calm voice that has a sort of sorrow to it.
