Soundwave: Sound and Fury
Project Overview
He's always been alone. Since his creation, Soundwave has been looked down on been mistrusted by the people of Cybertron. "Freak," they call him. Soundwave was created with a power that few can understand, as he has the ability to listen to the thoughts of others. He is feared for this reason and has been cast out, reduced to a simple transportation bot. Soundwave has always wanted to feel needed and trusted, but no one will give him a chance. His own best friend Blaster thinks he's a freak and calls him "Inferior." Because of this, Soundwave sinks into depression and loneliness, doubting his self-worth and questioning why he was made this way. Then, He meets Megatron.
This is meant to be a tragic villain story, like Joker or A Tale of Songbirds and Snakes. It will deal with hard-to-talk-about subjects like depression, questioning of self-worth, and suicide. This is not going to be like Wicked or Maleficent, saying, "Oh, the bad guy wasn't so bad after all." I don't believe in that sort of thing.
I will be very particular about who plays whom, and many of these characters I hope to use again, so if you're just hoping this will be a one-and-done, don't bother auditioning!
UPDATE: As of right now, the writing of the script for Sound and Fury is in full throttle. It is because the script is not finished that I have not made any final decisions for any roles, although many of you have caught my interest. Furthermore, starting June 12, I will be going on a business trip that will last till September. When I return, I hope to finish the script and choose suitable VAs.

Born into the mines of Kaon, Megatron was forced into hard labor by the dictators of Cybertron. Megatron saw the injustice inflicted by those who looked down on him, and took inspiration from one of the original 13, and decided to rise up by killing the labor enforcers. Instead of being executed, Megatron was thrown into the gladiator pits, where he addressed the crowds and began to raise his following.

That's because everything I touch is food for my hunger. My hunger for power!
Decepticons! Transform And Rise Up!
Why leave matters to fate if one can forge one's own destiny? Ive waisted to much of my life as it is, worshiping a false Idol. I will never belong to anybody, ever again.
Born into the life of a clerk, Orion Pax was never meant to be anything then a civil servant of Cybertron. However, Orion became increasingly aware of the injustice and oppression flowing through Cybertrons economy, and sought to change it. He was further inspired by the words of a Gladiator named Megatron. Orion would pursue his goal to reach the High Council of Cybertron, so he could change the sparks and minds of the people, with his vision of freedom and equality. Through his actions, he became a brother to Megatron, a student to Senator Alpha Trion, a friend to Senator Shockwave, and even found the love of his life in a young nursing student named Ariel.
Important: I don't want Orion to sound like Prime! I want him to sound like a normal person.

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings,"
At the heart of every legend, there is truth: a few brave souls unite to save the world. We can be heroes in our own lives, every one of us, if we only have the courage to try.
Nor was I. But one day, an Autobot shall rise from our ranks, and use the power of the Matrix to light our darkest hour. Until that day, till all are one.
(For anyone interested in Ravage, I may want to work with you in future projects concerning him, so just keep that in mind.)
Minicons have always been looked down on in the Cybertronian Economy, especially those who take the alternate mode of animals. Ravage was a lost and lonely Minicon, often mistreated by anyone who came in contact with him. That was until Soundwave found him. Because of his ability to listen to the minds of others, Soundwave was able to understand and listen to Ravage, and thus, promised to help him. Since then, Ravage has remained a loyal companion to Soundwave and an even better friend.

Its easy to go ignored when no one even bothers to listen to you. Im used to it by now.
Ive spent my entire life waiting for someone to see me, and you were the only one to take notice.
Soundwave, no one here has a home. We are all wrecks and misfits looked down by this fragging economy. But you saw us, and you excepted us. You are our home.
(For anyone interested in Rumble, I may want to work with you in future projects concerning him, so just keep that in mind.)
Rumble has been arrested numerous times for his hot temper and extensive damage to Cybertrons economy, thanks to his ability to shake the foundations of the planet's crust. Rumble and his brother have been cast onto the street, spending each day conserving their energon, just to get threw the night. Stealing coins just to pay for a cube of energon, taking any job they can, doing what they need to. Rumble is mentally unstable due to thoughts of abandonment and questioning his self-worth. But one day, he and Frenzy tried to steal from a Blue Decepticon who was also looking for a family.

Nice shootin', if you were aimin' for the sky!
You and what army, you maxi-turkey?
Ready to shake, ready to quake!
Between him and his brother, Frenzy is the more rational and sane. Frenzy has always tried to look out for his brother, even when things got tough for them. But his constant string of failures fills him with depression and often reflects on whether this life is truly worth living. He feels as if he has no purpose. But then Soundwave found him and his brother. He gave them a job, a home, and a place to belong.

You got a problem with us mac? Go and cry to your mommyboard about it!
(I've never been a fan of Blaster, I've always seen him as an Autobot Knockoff of Soundwave. He serves as a kind of Good Antagonist to this story.)
Blaster is Soundwaves best friend. Since they were created, Blaster has stuck around with Soundwave. But, unlike Soundwave, Blaster fulfilled his dream of becoming the Chief Representative of Iacons Communications and Surveillance Department. Blaster has a very toxic friendship with Soundwave, as he is constantly putting him down. Since their body are similar, Blaster will often comment on how Soundwave is the inferior product. Blaster hates the Decepticon movement and believes in Sentinel Prime's belief in Security and Protection (Through constant surveillance and stealing Data) and resents Soundwave for joining Megatron. He eventually uses Soundwave to try to take out Megatron, which transforms these friends into enemies.

Face it S! Between the two of us, Im just the superior Product.
Between Protection and Privacy, a smart bot would choose protection every time. No one wants to die S.
Hey, say it. Say it man? Whose the inferior? Thats right, its you!
(For anyone interested in Shockwavee, I may want to work with you in future projects concerning him, so just keep that in mind. Im also looking for someone who could voice normal Senator Shockwave, and evil Shockwave.)
Most people only remember Shockwave for the unspeakable horrors he committed as a Decepticon that they often forget all the good he did as an Autobot. Shockwave was the senator of Kaon in the Golden Age of Cybertron. He was a politician and a scientist. He did not see that the economy was falling into chaos and disarray until he heard of a young miner who had murdered his oppressors. He went to the arena to watch him die, but was instead inspired by the speech he gave afterward. From then on, Shockwave would hold many conversations with Megatron, and come to appreciate his philosophy of the need to rise up against oppressors and the need to find one's own destiny. Shockwave would go on to befriend a young clerk named Orion Pax, and become a teacher to a nurse named Ariel. Shockwave would finance the Decepticon rights movement and became loyal to Megaton, believing his master was destined to become the next Prime. He believed that unless Megatron seized Power, Cybertron would fall to Sentinels corruption. Shockwave made the ultimate sacrifice to his career when he openly declared treason against Sentinel, which sparked the Decepticon movement. He was arrested by Iacon Captain Grimlock and forced into mnemosurgery.

I spent my entire life looking down on this city in the blissful ignorance that all was as it should be. But now...I can never go back to that old life.
If we dont do somthing, Cybertron will tear itself apart! Its people are dying because they lack the strength to stand up to Sentinel and his Guard! Megatron has the strength we need! Cybertron needs that strength right now!
I know this wasnt the vision you had Orion, but the time for words has ended. Megatron is right, if we dont stand up to Sentinel, we wont have a future worth living for. No sacrifice, no victory.
(For anyone interested in Elita, I may want to work with you in future projects concerning him, so just keep that in mind. She will be a main protagonist in the future; therefore, it's very important to me who I choose. Make sure you are reliable.)
Ariel has always believed that violence was never the answer; that's why she chose to become a nursebot. Being a privileged citizen of Iacon allowed Ariel the opportunity to rise up above others, but she chose to travel to the slums of Kaon, where her skills would be best received. She became an apprentice to Senator Shockwave and practiced fields of medicine. One day, she met an Autobot clerk from Iacon named Orion Pax. And from then on, their love blossomed.

Im not really interested in bots who assert their dominance with acts of aggression. It just doesn't make sense. To me...those who are strongest are those who have the strength to be gentle.
This isn't the life I imagined for us. But its a life worth fighting for.
"This blind optimism that you have is why you make such bold and courageous choices, that are also extremely stupid."
(For anyone interested in Jazz, I may want to work with you in future projects concerning him, so just keep that in mind. He will be a main protagonist in the future; therefore, it's very important to me who I choose. Make sure you are reliable.)
Jazz, the owner of Jazz's Place, is the most hip and vibing Autobot you will ever meet. A terrific bartender, a lover of the Psalms of Cybertron, and an even better friend. Jazz knew that his home was filled with corruption and misstreatment, and he believed that the best way to overcome it was threw kindness. When Soundwave was going threw depression, and Blaster was putting him down every step of the way, Jazz was one of the only genuine friends he had. Someone who would actually listen.

Hey dudes, I'D advise some serious chillin' out before we have to get rough.
Any species that can come up with a sweet ride like this can't be all bad
Do it with style, or don't do it at all.
Before he was a Dinobot, Grimlock was the most vicious Captain in the Cybertronian High Guard. Whenever Sentinel wanted someone made an example of, Grimlock would be sent to exterminate the issue.
- male adult
Senator Shockwave, I am Grimlock, Captain of the Cybertron High Guard. You are under arrest for High Treason against Sentinel Prime and the High Council. Resist, and you will not leave Kaon alive.
Oh...I love it when they resist!
Kill them all! End this threat to Cybertron before it begins! For the glory of the Primes!
Born with air superiority, Starscream was allowed the benefits of the high class of the Cybertronian Society, serving as a Captain of a squadron of Seekers. Often asserting his dominance amongst the grunts of Cybertron, he was petty and egotistical. However, he did agree with Megatron that all Cybertronians must find the strength to rise against oppression, thus, he joined the Decepticon movement. Bickering and being obnoxious with his fellow officers, Starscream was plainly that he sought for control of the Decepticons, but it was clear that he would never be as respected as Megatron.

Megatron has fallen! I Starscream am now your leader! Decepticons follow me!
I have been a fool. Made mistakes. Monumental ones. I now realize I was never destined to be leader, or even an equal partner. And, I am at peace with that. I have gained a clear understanding of my place in the universe. Of who I am. Of who I was always meant to be. Starscream: second in command, humble servant to Lord Megatron.
"Megatron? Did you just say Megatron? Did he just say Megatron? THERE IS NO MEGATRON! Megatron is offline, terminated, I did it myse-- saw it myself."
(For anyone interested in Tarn, I may want to work with you in future projects concerning him, so just keep that in mind. He will be a main antagonist in the future; therefore, it's very important to me who I choose. Make sure you are reliable.)
Tarn has looked up to Megatron, even before he had a name. Tarn was a fellow nameless miner in the dark caverns of Kaon, watching his fellow miners die harvesting energon for a tyrant. When Megatron rose against the oppressors, Tarn did not hesitate to join in the slaughter. Tarn and Megatron were sent to the Gladitorial pits to die, and while Megatron found the hate to slaughter those who stood against him, Tarn was less than adequate. His numerous battles caused severe damage to his face. Megatron took him as his protégé and trained him to be the greatest gladiator in Kaon, second only to him. When Megatron began the Decepticon uprising, he forged Tarn a mask to cover his shame, and thus forged Tarn into the ultimate Decepticon. Tarn grew to respect Shockwave for his loyalty to Megatron, and a friendship with Soundwave over their shared love for music. Megatron would name Tarn, Soundwave and Shockwave part of his elite council members, and the highest-ranking officers in the Decepticon army.

AS MEGATRON ONCE SAID TO ME, EVEN THE DEBAUCHED AND FATUOUS SOCIETY CAN, ON OCCASION, PRODUCE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL.
"IT ALWAYS END THE SAME WAY. AFTER THE TORTURE, I ROUSE THEM WITH A SPOT OF MUSIC...AND THEN WHISPER THEM TO DEATH.
EVEN WITH SOMEONE WITH THE MOST RUDIMENTARY GRASP OF MEGATRON'S TEACHINING MUST REALIZE THAT A DECEPTICON UTOPIA CANNOT ACCOMMODATE ANY FORM OF RELIGION.
Kup wasn't always an old war veteran; once, he was just an old bot working the warehouse of Cybertrons transport industry. He was Soundwave's manager before the war, and although he thought he was odd and disturbed, Kup had a soft spot for the Decepticon, before he became Megatron's cold-blooded communications officer.
Experience, lad, you should learn to appreciate it.
Old-timer? That's something you'll never be if you don't get back to the city.
Of all the circuit-glitched, diode-blowing dim-wittery. You left a piece out!
