Ultimate Producer | Beat Battle series

Hey! I'm SoundNinja, Producer, Audio Engineer, and Freelancer. I started producing music in 2017, since then I've created thousands of tracks in many different genres. I say this not as a brag but just to show that I believe that I have the experience to judge good music when I hear it, and I will as fair and unbiased as possible. Ultimate Producer.

I'm hosting a new series for my YouTube channel featuring producers with talent. The competition will be judged by Myself, Guest judges, and tie breakers will be done by crowd vote if needed, The tracks will be blindly judged to avoid bias. below you can find all of the rules and info around this upcoming contest.

The first battle will start on Sept 28th, it will be live for 1 week. meaning from the 28th to the 5th of Oct. You will be able to work on the track at any point and submit your track.

To be very clear. The $50 USD prize is solely for the winner of the battle. Every contestant will have their track showcased however. If I get a lot of submissions for the battle, then likely only the top 20 will be showcased and judged via a video

• Rules •

1. The sample must be recognizable in your track.

2. You must explain how the sample was used in your track.

3. The track should be no longer than 2 minutes in length. (120 seconds) and no shorter than 30 seconds.

4. You can only upload 1 track per beat battle.

5. AI generated music is NOT allowed. (AI assisted software such as de-noisers or mixing and mastering plugin's and effects are allowed however)

1. Prizes will vary from cash to plugin's and hopefully in the future, depending on the success of hosting these battles. Gear and Networking connections.

2. Competition window for submission is 1 week from the samples upload. (for now)

3. Failure to follow any one of the rules disqualifies your track and possibly from future beat battles.

4. You can remix and or alter the sample in any way you would like, and or upload any genre (if not specified) of music for the beat battle. (sample needs to be recognizable)

5. Judging will be done by SoundNinja and a guest. The tracks will be judged by the following. Creativity, Sample integration, Production Quality, Arrangement, and Originality.

6. The judging will be done blind, meaning the artist name of the track upon first listen through will be unknown to the judges.

7. If the winner of a battle is unclear, the vote will be given to public polls to decide the winner.

8. For now the battles will be open to as many that can submit a track, but in the future it will likely be a limited sign up.

9. Submit tracks in ⁠the "submit" channel using either a link to the song, or the file of the song directly into discord
