Lacho

Hi, my name is Lachlan (pronounced lock-lin), and I love making music. A big part of my life growing up was being exposed to an array of perspectives—from my mom's 2000s hip-hop playlists to the early CGI album Animusic, a collection of songs synced to eccentric visuals and imaginative instruments. These influences shaped my taste for experimental and thought-provoking music, with an emphasis on groove and coherent drum work.

These days, my influences are mainly electronic and instrumental, but I enjoy working across a variety of genres and styles, ambient, game osts, dubstep, lofi, etc (examples on demo reel). Rhythm is my strong suit (my first instrument was a drum set), but over the past three years, I’ve been learning all aspects of music production—from crafted sound design to arrangement and mixing—to the best of my ability.
