Comic dub of the fanseries for the anime Soul Eater
Soul Eater: Dystopia is based off the anime adaptation of Soul Eater with a twist in it's retelling, taken by the perspective of Death the Kid and unraveling an alternative turn of events...

This casting call is currently just for a comic dub of Soul Eater: Dystopia, but I may later plan to adapt scenes or even entire episodes of the story into animation and use vocals from the dub for it. Please keep this in mind while auditioning. There will also be themes of death, gore, and some instances of strong language.
Some of the characters in this comic undergo drastic changes of personality, most do not require completely different voices for these changes with the *exception of one character, but they may have minor differences in tone you should be prepared to adjust for.
To be cast for this project, you must:
-Have good mic quality
-Have freetime to work on it
-Be able to communicate with me
The voices for the characters are based off the official english dub of the anime Soul Eater, I will be looking for voice actors who can best match the voices from the anime, There are some original characters that require voices as well that you may be more flexible with when auditioning.
These are not all the characters I'll need, and I will likely make another casting call later when the story advances and I require more of the characters, so don't be too discouraged if you don't get a part!

Known for his incredible strength and ego, Blackstar is one of the strongest meisters at the academy. He's immensely confident, but is easily irritated by failure.
[Threatening; Aggressive] I can't walk away now... And I'll kill you before I let you give up either!
[Laughing; Confident] HA HA HA! I'm just super pumped to beat the crap out of everyone! ALRIGHT! LET'S BRING IT ON!
[Teasing cockily] Heh, who do you think you are talking all big and tough like that? Don’t you know that’s my job? It’s crap like that that’ll land you on the pavement!
A twisted scientist with a hobby of dissection, he's often sadistic, intimidating, and even immoral. However, he does have a compassionate side to him and cares a great deal about the people around him.
[A bit sadistically] "Right" and "wrong" are determined by the people who hold positions of authority, that's the way it's always been, so how then can anyone know of this truth you speak of?
[Explaining] Regardless, we’ll be heading up to the schoolyards momentarily, so you might as well stay standing. Anyhow, you’ll be grouped with other meister and weapon pairs to spar with, try not to kill each other.
[Somber; Quiet] …Marie… You believe me wholeheartedly when I say I had nothing to do with this. But if it comes down to it... Don’t do anything stupid to try to save me.
He may seem impatient and nonchalant, but more often than not, he's a lot more cautious than his partner, Maka. He's shown to be very loyal, as well as calm and quick-thinking in dire situations.
[Aggressive; A bit tense] Back off. I won't let you touch my meister.
What's up? Why were you so late?
[Quiet; Remorseful] Maybe if I paid closer attention... No, if I listened... Maybe things wouldn't have turned out this way...
The younger of the Thompson sisters. She often acts very child-like and naive, however, when she loses her temper she can get very aggressive and threatening.
[Laughing] Hahaha! He ran away! He ran away!!
[Aggressively; Nearing sadistic] Got him! Die, fisher-guy!
[Excitedly] Yeah, yeah!! Let's go!
Blackstar's weapon partner. She is one of the most mature members of the main cast, and is shown to be very patient and forgiving. However, she's not incapable of being assertive when necessary.
[Retaliating] That isn't true! I'm not going to let you call me some petty flower!
[Trying to brighten the mood] Well, we should head up after the Professor! He’ll be waiting on us.
[Pondering] I wonder what of all this construction is for...?
The older one of the Thompson sisters. While she's normally cool and level-headed, she is shown to be extremely scared by paranormal things.
[Exasperated] You guys are crazy... Worse than crazy-- you're insane crazy jerks, and insane crazy jerks with a death wish!
[A bit apathetically]
Oh, it was just one of “those days”. You know, ‘morning-symmetry-spasms’. No big deal.
[Worried] What's happening with you...? You haven't been acting like yourself lately...
A scythe-meister at the DWMA, she's confident, hard-working, and intelligent. Although, she is known to be a bit stuboorn at times.
[Hostile] You did this! You're the one who turned Sid into a zombie!
[Explaining] Actually, what we’re supposed to be doing is practicing combat skills with other students…
[Concerned] You look really tired... Is everything really alright?
*His voice will change drastically over the course of the series, and will revert to his old, deep and menacing way of speaking as he does sometimes in the anime.
The Grim Reaper, Death himself. He serves as a god to the world whose duty is to protect and preserve peace. However, he is kind, benevolent, cheery, and optimistic, if not a little goofy.
[Comforting] Now now, there's nothing wrong with being used to peace. If anything, I say we should get more used to it, because that would mean the world is a peaceful place.
[Concerned] It's been brought to my attention by some teachers that you've been acting rather odd lately... In fact, they've described your behavior as being... "Violent"...
[Using his deep, menacing, old way of speaking] If there's something you need of me, then out with it.
A mysterious robotic character that dwells within Kid's mind, he's manipulative, cynical, sarcastic, and overall abusive.
He has a young sounding voice (may be played best by a female) that is notably aggressive and snappy.
This character's voice will most likely be edited to sound more robotic.
[Snarkily; A bit sadistic] You've got a lot of nerve talking to me like that... You haven't forgotten, have you? You made me...
[Furious; Lashing out] What the hell is wrong with you!? Why did you just sit there!? You're worthless!
[Irritated] Touch me again-- I will end you.
The son of Lord Death himself. He's a grim reaper who is rather mature and serious for his age, however, his power is sometimes disabled due to an anxiety disorder.
[Frustrated; Beginning to raise his voice] Why are you still refusing to answer any of my questions? What information are you so desperate to keep hidden...?
[Hostile; Disgusted] Why should I listen to the likes of you? Just look at your asymmetrical patches-- I can barely stomach looking at you. Yet you have the audacity to tell me you know better? Revolting creature.
[Mildly amused] Someone as loud and obnoxious as you is hard to miss. I wouldn't worry so much if I were you.
