★ Sonic X Abridged: Sonic the Douchebag


About this Project

This is a fanmade abridge/fandub/parody of the anime, Sonic X featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends.


Disclaimers

Based off the style of writing and comedy, this is a "M-Rated" project. This abridge/fandub/parody will contain:

• Course Language with Swearing/Cursing.

• Sexual Content with Innuendos and etc.

So please be advised before auditioning and committing to these roles.


Voice Acting Requirements

• Must have some form of Sonic knowledge/experience (this will help with the project flow).

• Based off the content, only actors of Age 17 and up will only be accepted.

• Must have an active Skype for contact and an alternate form of contact (optional).

• Must have a microphone of high quality for recording.

• Must be willing to meet deadlines at the time given (Estimated deadline times ranges from 2-3 weeks)

*Failure to meet these requirements will result in immediate rejection or recast.

The channel currently has over 44,000+ subscribers and is still growing (it will grow even faster once this project takes off).

Actors will have their YouTube channels (if applicable) boxed and featured on the YouTube page in exchange. We might hold events and do special YouTube videos featuring the actors, so more exposure will be brought to you in the future.

    Sup Everyone,


    As of 12/12/16 after several team discussions and decisions, we made our selections and casted all 12 roles we need for Sonic X Abridged.

    To those that auditioned, thank you for participating. Right now, we are going to start the messaging/confirmation process to all the people that have been casted.


    Also, a lot of you came close to some roles or had an exceptional audition. We will also contact you for potential future roles as well, so if you received an exceptional amount of feedback but didn't get the role for a particular character,  there's a good chance we will contact you privately for a potential spot.


    Please allow us roughly a week to organize and start the messaging process. We also need this window of time to prepare everyone's lines to be queued up, so as soon as we get you in the official skype group, you can begin recording.

    Just a side note, the voices do not have to be a 100% accurate to the dub. If you can make it a least sound similar with a bit of comedy/creativity to it, then it's cool as well.
