He is an anthropomorphic fox born with two distinct twin-tails, hence his nickname. Due to his abnormality, Tails was a victim to bullying during his youth. One day, however, he met Sonic the Hedgehog and was inspired to become as cool as him after seeing him run like the wind. Tails soon after began following Sonic on his adventures and has since become his best friend and sidekick. He is able to use his twin-tails to fly by rotating them like helicopter rotors and is a mechanic genius and aerial pilot.
You don't normally see them lying around in the open!

He is a peaceful anthropomorphic armadillo with a passion for traveling. Though he dislikes violence and roughness, Mighty is more than capable of such when trouble arises.

He is an anthropomorphic flying squirrel who was once captured by Dr. Robotnik, but escaped with the aid of fellow prisoners Sonic the Hedgehog and Mighty the Armadillo.

He is an anthropomorphic jerboa-wolf and treasure hunter who resides in a mysterious alternate dimension, which is described as subspace. His goal is to get his hands on the Chaos Emeralds for monetary purposes. He is a slick villain, but his aspirations are small-time. Fang uses a Popgun as his primary weapon and the Marvelous Queen aerobike as his mode of transportation.

crazy. He is an anthropomorphic woodpecker who competed in a fighting tournament for the Chaos Emeralds and the right to destroy the Death Egg II. In battle, Bean is capable of throwing an endless amount of bombs for his amusement and defense.

The leader of the Hard Boiled Heavies, the Heavy King is an enhanced version of an Egg-Robo created by Dr. Eggman. Struck with the power of the Phantom Ruby, the Heavy King led his troop into battle against the likes of Sonic and his friends.
With that, all the chaos emeralds are accounted for.
Two have been delivered.
The third is held by the amateurs.
He is an evil human scientist and the arch-nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. Boasting an IQ of 300, Eggman is a self-proclaimed evil scientist and a genuine genius megalomaniac who dreams of dominating the world with his Eggman Empire using his scientific expertise. For all his brilliance, however, Sonic and his friends constantly find a way to foil his plans and keep him at bay.

it all started when I decided to rebuild heavy king, you see. He would become my chief commander and lead my robots into battle! That way I'd have more time to invent, research... you know, do important stuff.
