Sonic and the Tales of Terror Audio Drama: Sonic Voice Actor Needed
Project Overview
I am creating an audio drama adaptation of the book, Sonic and the Tales of Terror for those who are unaware. My Sonic actor will not be able to do the role, so I must find another actor to play the part. This role doesn't require much, just that you have some level of voice acting experience and a decent microphone. I will not accept auditions where it's either too loud with background noise or I can barely hear you at all. I'm excited to hear everyone's auditions, best of luck to all of you!!!

Hey guys. I just want to say thank you all so much for your auditions! You all are bringing such unique takes to the role of Sonic, and I just love it! Auditions have been coming in at a steady rate, at least for a small YouTube project. I was thinking if I wanted to shorten the deadline to maybe July 1. Maybe if auditions start to slow down, I'll do so. Again, not entirely sure, we'll see how it goes. I just want to thank everyone again for auditioning, and I hope I get to hear more stunning performances in the next couple of days!
I'm sure we all know who Sonic the Hedgehog is; a cocky, but well-intended teen who tries to save the world from Eggman. For this role, I'm fine with anything you offer, though I personally prefer a take that's closer in line to Jason Griffith or Ryan Drummond. If you can do a mixture of both, that's great! But, don't be shy to try something new. From what you can tell from the role title, Sonic will turn into the Werehog in the third story. I am fine with any interpretation you go for, whether it's the more gruff Jason Griffith take, the smooth Tomokazu Seki take, or your original spin. The first two lines are regular Sonic lines, while the third one is for the Werehog.
Sonic "Have fun waiting to get hosed off. I've got more action to find instead of getting stuck in place."
Sonic: "Ah, you’re worrying over nothing, Amy. The only effects of Dark Gaia’s energy were that I got a bit furrier. And these little monsters are probably just stragglers, and we took them out before with little more than a flashbulb camera. Right, Tails?"
Werehog Sonic: "What good is that thing going to be if we can’t find any of these Dark Minions, Tails? If they were really here in force, we should have found something, anything in the city by now!"
