Somnerum (Sims 3 Horror Film/Short Series)
Project Overview
Hello everyone!
I'm Sims 3 Machinima director, and currently, I'm working on my biggest project ever. Somnerum is a Sims 3 Film/Short series inspired by a game franchise, Silent Hill.
The film is about Eric, a man in his late 30s, who recently has weirdly real dreams. Some of them being terrifying, and as a consequence, he suffers from insomnia.
One evening after having drinks with his friend, Margaret, Eric quickly falls asleep. Little did he know, that coming projections will be very different from what he has experience before...
The project consists of 5 parts, and I have recorded 4 so far. Current casting does not include all the roles, I will need a few more voices for minor work. That will be clarified once I'm done with the last part.

IMPORTANT : This is a dual role, therefore you have to make two different type of voices; one is for a friend of Tamara's, one is for a news spokeperson. The voice must be different for each character, so this is for the people who are capable of providing distinctive voices. Additionaly, what you audition with, will be used as final take for the project, so give your best! :)
Please take note that english is not my first langague so if something sounds odd (I think about the lines for spokesperson) then feel free to record your own version which you think sounds better!
Tamara's Friend:
Here is a short dialogue the two have. Only record the Friend lines
Friend: Go on, get him! Now is your chance!
Tamara: I'm not too sure, he never notices me. I guess I'm not his type.
Friend: Go! You have nothing to lose!
Tamara: *takes a breath* I guess you are rightNews Spokesperson: Albert Webster found dead in his prison cell. Known as the "Ripper", the criminal was found by prison guards in the morning. At this time, it is difficult to assess the cause of death, as no traces were found on his body that would indicate suicide, and let us recall that Webster served his sentence in a maximum-security prison. Also, cyclical reports did not indicate that the murderer's health has deteriorated. All indications are that the man died while sleeping for unexplained reasons. "The autopsy scheduled for Monday will surely provide many explanations" - said Dr. Henry Woods. Until then, we can only reflect on theories.
And now it's time for the weather!
Eric is a man in his late 30s. He had a divorce months before, prior to the problems with sleeping. He is grounded, although his insomnia caused him a lot of stress.
Yes, as you know I have problems with sleeping recently, but I've never drifted away like that before... it kind of scares me a bit...

Sandra is in her late 20s. She is an attractive young woman, and she can be a bit flirtatious, but its only fun and games for her, and rarely anything serious.
*For this role I'm looking for low/sexy voice. If you do possess one, please make sure to find the right balance on how you sound, as I want it to be natural. Don't overdo it. Sorry if my directions are not too clear.
I must say that recent events really terrified me, I'm glad I can find some comfort in you, Eric. Thanks for being a nice company.

Marisele is a woman in her mid-30s. She is the main human antagonist in the film. Evil, charismatic, devoted to her beliefs.
*Trying to approach her husband unnoticed, as she plans to kill him, but he does notice her*

Albert is in his mid 30s. He is a bit twisted, uncontrollable, can be easily irritated. His outer shell seems to be friendly, but people around him can quickly notice, that there is something dark and mysterious about this man.
What exactly would you like to do? They are out somewhere... we have no idea where to look for them.
*angry, bit violent*

Richard is in his early 50s. Retired policeman. He is practical, grounded. He finds the right balance between logic and understanding the dream phenomenon he is in.
Well, there are three of us, there is no way he can cause any harm.
*takes a deep breath*
I and my family were once on the covers of local magazines. They can write nasty things...
This idea of yours is not bad, but I do not feel like going outside right now.
Shane is in his early 20s. The type of guy you will find next door.
Yeah...I guess we could go and explore this place. See what is around.
Signs around are not on our side; this place indeed looks dead. We've got to deliver good news though, we cannot come back empty-handed.
Naomi, you will be alright. I can promise you that.
Naomi is in her early 20s. She had an easy life as she was born to a rich family, therefore her head is a bit in the clouds and doesn't necessarily know how to solve life problems. Bit clumsy.
I don't want to sound selfish, but I did hope that this so-called dream, will just end.
This place is just getting creepier and creepier. I don't want to be here...

[BACKSTORY]: Tamara was always fond of Eric (the main character of the story), but he never noticed her. One day, at the pub, she got the chance to talk to him, and her attempts in getting to him were successful. However, since Eric was drunk, he wanted more. He sexually assaulted Tamara, even though she didn't resist him because, as mentioned before, she was attracted to him and blamed herself instead. This all happened about 20 years ago prior to current events in the story. Since that incident, they have never seen each other. The "reunion" happens in a dream world. (You can watch episodes 1-4 for more insight into the story).
[ABOUT THE CHARACTER]: Tamara is a woman in her mid/late 30s. She is a shy, reserved person especially when it comes to men. She is really uneasy when she meets up with Eric, as the events from the past are still hunting her.
Tamara: *with disgust mixed with being scared* You are a monster. You are the only person that deserves to die! (note: this is not said towards Eric)
Tamara: I might be weak, but I'm not a murderer. I don't want to play part in your sick narrative!
Tamara: (towards Eric) I've learned to live with this feeling of guilt, blame, and disgust. But if this was supposed to teach me something then I think I learned my lesson. It's about time that I move on, and leave the demons from the past behind me. It's time that I forgive me. That I forgive you...
Walter is man in his early 30s. He is Marisele's right hand. He believes in New World Order and he knows certain tasks must be completed in order to create their dream paradise.
Walter is an evil character
Your daughter's powers are growing exponentially. We can't allow ourselves for anything to disturb the process.
George is Marisele's husband. He has no idea of her true identity or character (she is main human antagonist in the film), and fell in love with her beauty and charismatic personality. He is a loving, caring husband and father. Together with his wife they rise their daughter, Alyssa.
George is a good character.

Margaret is a woman in her late 30s. She works together with Eric, and is his good friend. She is concerned about him, as she can clearly see, that something is worng.
She is good-hearted, and a bit goofy.

I would prefer to have a mature female voice for this small role, but I'm open to suggestions. All depends on your acting, and mic quality,
