Project Overview

OVERVIEW:

Society of the Elite will be a YouTube indie series that is currently unpaid but if there is a good amount of income, animators will be payed first! This series will be a horror comedy with lots of twists and turns along with huge scenes to make a grown man cry (hopefully).

This series you can say is a little bit of Danganronpa and The Promised Neverland along with horror, murder mystery, powers, and other! :O

The series will currently look like a gameplay similar to Danganronpa and Class of '09 unless there are enough animators. If there are enough artists, I will change this to a storyboard series. However, it is 100% certain that big scenes (ex: fight scenes) will be fully animated with at least no color.

SYNOPSIS:

A society of elite kids locked away from the world. Each kid has their own unique powers; Hest, the power that helps the society, and Defst, the power that attacks and defends. The society is huge, it has everything, there's no need to leave. However, Eneji wants to see the outside world at least once in her life due to her love of nature.

One day, the children's watches flash red, a warning of danger. Though everyone is supposed to stay in their rooms in this situation, Eneji and her best friend Ase decide to investigate. They find one of the lovely Societivers dead at the end of a dark hallway. But something lurks among them... It does way more than anyone can think.

Eneji takes this tragic situation as an opportunity. Either an outsider, child, caretor, or some sort of other creature has done this. Eneji promises to figure this out. If she does, she'll get to see the world.

AUDITION INFO:
- Please read the whole information in each role.

- For non-VA, submit a google drive or anything similar with all of your work to make things simple.

- In the description, type your discord user, what role you're auditioning for, and anything else you would like to tell me :)

- There will be rounds of auditions! This means that non-VA people that got accepted will be announced to start the project before we decide our VA. This is so we can get a headstart with scripts and a full plan of the series and other.

- After all roles are filled, non-VA roles will still be open as all help will be super appreciated.

- Art with any watermark from the software/app/etc. that was used will be denied. The only watermark accepted is your own :)

- For VA, people with little to no background noise and good mic quality will be put up front for consideration. However, you still need to prove you are good at voice acting!

- To have a better chance in getting in, write in your description you experiences and/or why you should be chosen!

DETAILS:
- I am looking for dedicated, hardworking, fun, and amazing people to work with. - When you audition, you are saying you will meet those requirements and stay for the whole project.

- Please be 15+ if any younger, please contact me as you still may have a chance to get in.

- Discord is required! Before you audition, please join the discord and feel free to talk in the chatting channel! I would like people to only either audition on discord or on here to make it easier on me :) If you'd like, you can send a message in the designated audition channel saying you auditioned in CCC!

- Please be able to be available. Deadlines won't be too strict during school, but during summer break, deadlines will be a little stricter.

- If you have any questions, please ask in the discord!

- If not enough interest, standards will lower and animation will be reduced.

- There MIGHT be backup VAs

    HELLOOOO! If you are auditioning for crew (any role that is not voice acting), please submit your audition before 11:59 CST on March 2nd if you do not want to wait another month for the next round of auditions to see if you got in!   • Animation Update!

    I have been working a lot on characters and other things for this show recently and I have thought about what I want for the animation. And I was like "Hmm... you know, every unpaid indie fan/original animations never really get made due to low amounts of animators. At least all the ones I've been in. So maybe I should lower my expectation..."

    So I've thought it through. This show will now look like a gameplay and heavily referencing Danganronpa and Class of 09. Characters will only be png/sprites with dialogue that'll be voice acted and with huge scenes such as fights will be animated!! There will be other special scenes that will just have the whole thing drawn out rather than just sprites but yea-

    You can still audition for any role!!!!! Animators are highly appreciated still as I'm still gonna need people to make fight scenes

    AND these animation scenes are not expected to be colored unless there are enough people!

    also fights also mean characters being chased and stuff... and yes there'll be fight scenes... lol trying not to spoil anything

Sari is that girl that you would see in the hallways at school and be like; “Huh, I see her a lot but I don’t really know her well.” She loves to be alone but will hang out with people if she is invited. You will mostly see her hanging out with Mama though. As the first child societiver, she’s the most connected to Mama. Sari isn’t some kind of UwU girl that’s shy… She has a bold and recognizable voice that will socialize, she just decides to be alone and be her own friend. Sari is different from the rest. She really wants to take care of everyone just like the Aunt’s do. But she has to wait until she’s 18, and it’s promised once she turns 18 she can be an adult “in training” with Mama. She enjoys the idea to be alongside Mama and is excited for the day she is old enough. But when the disaster strikes, the outlook doesn’t seem great for her. She’s more alone in the dark hiding from it all. Right? She just hopes it’ll be over. 

Sari has a voice that you would hear while listening to a podcast. Her words are crisp and recognizable. But sometimes she lack emotion in her words.

Ase is the oldest and first guy to be put into the society, surrounded by many girls until finally another was put in. Ase likes to take risks, but he isn’t the bravest guy as he freezes up to real threat. He really enjoys spending time with Eneji and not really anyone else. In fact, the reason why he has the love for the stars and space is due to Eneji speaking so much about the outside. When he was introduced to the midnight sky, he became highly interested in seeing the outside as well. Ase also During the chaos, Ase doesn’t stop taking risks. Ase will make sure to help everyone can be safe and to become braver. Which he does eventually become brave enough to fight whoever is the villain. Ase is the one that moves Eneji along to keep helping so this can come to an end and so they can both see the world sooner rather than too late.

Eneji is your friendly local girl who will talk all day about her love of nature along with other interests as she engages in your conversations as well. This 16 year old will go off on adventures, no matter how terrifying they may be. She isn't the smartest, but that doesn't stop her from problem solving with the help from friends. This girl is open to new things and loves to keep herself busy. Got something you need someone to do? Eneji's got your back! Mention nature and she goes crazy. That mind of hers is a phone gallery with only nature saved in there. With her optimism, nothing can make her lack self-confidence. However, with more and more pressure, she will slowly doubt herself, but that optimism will never leave. Come up to her and she will want to be friends immediately, just as long as you give off the right vibes. The wrong vibes, she won't talk to you unless necessary. Some may think she's obnoxious, but others will think she's fun to be around. When the chaos erupts, she begins to be anxious. She loves all of her friends and hates to think about them dying. But with her love of adventures, nature, and her friends, she will figure out who is behind this. She makes a deal with Mama, if she solves the mystery of who is behind the deaths, she can be allowed outside.

Jane. Weird name compared to the rest. She’s powerless, useless, unknown. Giving her the name similar to Jane Doe. She’s always away from everyone, afraid of being hated, but also afraid of never being recognized. Sometimes people forget about her, she has nothing special that people can remember her by. During the chaos, she would always try to stay alert. She used to enjoy swimming and hanging out at the lounge, but now there’s something out there and she has nothing to protect herself with. But, she still enjoys hanging out in the pool, it seems to calm her. Will she forever stay powerless and die useless? 

Jane has a soft but raspy voice that you often have to ask her to speak up. (However I still want to be able to hear what you say in your recordings…)

Khon is the next boy to be put into the society, finally giving Ase a break from girls. However, Khon never really hung out with Ase and always preferred hanging out with the girls. He would bond with girls more… probably because it turns out that he also likes guys like the girls do. When he came out, everyone was very accepting as Aunt Mars was extremely happy for Khon. Once Khon had gotten his powers, he fell in love with it and it became his goal to use his powers for good use to protect everyone. Though, once people started mysteriously dying from some sort of thing, he started to panic. He would think to fast and act on any conflict that sometimes he got involved in something he shouldn’t. But with this, it’s more important to him to make sure no one else dies. 

Khon has an almost upbeat kind of voice, always sounding like it's encouraging someone. Some could say his voice is annoying…

Ambrosia is that one person that has to always ruin everything. Like, “Oh yeah I have an amazing class! Except this one stupid person that has to ruin it to make it not perfect…” She makes sure to ruin everyone’s day as the society is “a little too perfect.” Having some sort of conflict makes the day more interesting, which is why she decides to cause conflict. Although, she does have a soft spot. When River was introduced into the society, she just felt connection. Along with that, she also craves for a partner even though she literally makes everyone’s lives worse. Ambrosia believes that people should be more involved with their ethnicity, which is why she wears a kimono. Ambrosia isn’t any better during the chaos, she still ruins days and does her usual. But, she gets more protective with River and slowly becomes fearful and anxious. She can’t become someone she isn’t. She wants to be feared. Can she really keep it up..?

Ambrosia has a loud voice wanting to make sure you can hear every word she says that strikes you right in the soul.

Cedar is that guy you will see leaning on a wall in the corner of a room during a party. He enjoys spending time with people even though it physically looks like he doesn’t. Cedar is pretty helpful, he would gladfully do a task for you without asking for anything in return. Although, he is pretty impatient. If he’s not interacted with enough, he will disappear quickly. When Cedar came into the society, he never really interacted with people much. But Khon decided to hang out with him when no one else was. Cedar would become best friends with Khon and really enjoyed his presence… Then they caught feelings for each other. Cedar really enjoys his relationship with Khon, he gives a special spark in his life to make it less boring. When people started dying, Cedar stuck with Khon to make sure people believe they’re both innocent and also to protect each other. Although it's weird that Cedar is never really seen much by others and only by Khon...

Chro is another quiet kid, only communicating when needed. They seem emotionless though. Nothing really bothers them. Every day they’re in a different room just sitting and drawing or painting while listening to music through their headphones. Occasionally you can find them talking with anyone who decides to talk with them, but they never start conversations. The only time you will see them express emotion is when their art is complimented, they’ll be extremely happy and motivated to make more art, and even that person who compliments it may get art made for them. It’s odd they still are emotionless when people die. Chro doesn’t shed a single tear. Weird… They aren’t bothered much and keep doing their usual; Switching rooms everyday and making art while listening to music. It could just be them being weird though…
