Slightly Insulting's Spider-Man: Gap Year - Superhero Audio Drama

Project Overview

Spider-Man: Gap Year is an audio drama taking place in the Spider-Man Extended Universe on Slightly Insulting, the same universe as the hit series Spider-Man: Friend or Foe!

Taking place a few months after the events of Spider-Man: Dying Wish Part 2, a mysterious technology dealer is supplying weaponry to the people of New York City, turning petty crooks into full-fledged supervillains. Spider-Man must do anything to stop the dealer, even form an alliance with the NYPD and their Lieutenant Jean DeWolff...Question is: Does he have what it takes after losing the one he loves?

REQUIREMENTS FOR PROJECT:

  1. Be prepared to commit! This means be responsive and be punctual with line delivery.

  2. I have no preference between XLR microphones or USB microphones, but I do have a preference towards good mic quality. Please have little to no background noise and reduce peaking and plosives as well.

  3. Not a requirement but Discord is a preference as the lines will be distributed through it, and communication will be done through Discord DMs. Please put your username in the description of your audition. If you do not have a discord or are not comfortable with this, this requirement can be worked around.

GUIDELINES FOR AUDITIONS:

  1. You may audition for as many characters as you want.

  2. If a character has a specified reference voice, please try to replicate said voice. Additionally, if a character has a specified accent, you must do the accent for the audition. If neither is specified or its loosely described, you're free to go with your gut!

  3. Just in case anyone asks, you are not required to slate.

  4. Please no troll auditions.

  5. If you are willing to use Discord,
