Slave to the Stove is a surreal dark comedy animated show about a tyrannical demon queen named Lucibella Flambéra, who forces the denizens of Hell to help in her twisted cooking show, Hell’s Hotdish.
Each episode features over-the-top recipes, bizarre food, and chaotic kitchen antics as the cast try (and usually fail) to survive Lucibella’s impossible standards.
Hello, all! As of now, all the voice acting roles for the main characters are now taken (Please don’t take it personally if you didn’t get the role. There were genuinely so many good submissions for each one)!
I’ve decided to open roles for, character and background artists, animators, and storyboarders for anyone interested! So, if that’s what you want to do for the show, go right ahead and make a submission!
The visual style I’m aiming for is simple, yet expressive, Something similar of Adult Swim or indie animated shows. It doesn’t need to be polished or realistic it just needs the ability to bring scenes to life.

An unhinged goblin creature, and community service-bound criminal acting as her grotesque right-hand man. Twitchy, loud, and absolutely loving his time on set. Thinks everything is a joke and is somehow Lucibella’s most loyal servant.

A sleek, corporate demon always looking to cut corners for maximum profit. She’s slick, smug, and corporate to the core. Constantly checking viewer analytics in real-time, passive-aggressively encourages Lucibella’s worst traits, and always brings up “marketability.” She keeps the show trending and profitable—even if it means throwing the entire cast under the Hell-bus.

The sounds and lights, and pretty much everything guy, constantly terrified. He’s a nervous wreck, stutters when spoken to, but surprisingly competent when not under direct scrutiny. He is terrified of Lucibella, but is desperate for validation. Ironically, Lucibella can never remember his name, calling him things like “Snackwhip,” “Sporkwell,” or just “You.”

Lucibella Flambéra is the flamboyant, sadistic, yet image-obsessed queen of Hell. She created “Hell’s Hotdish”, her passion project, to force all of Hell to recognize her culinary genius. She’s obsessed with aesthetic, drama, and presentation. She sees herself as elegant and visionary, but she’s really just a perfectionist tyrant with a flair for culinary carnage.
My darling sinners... I’ve had a vision. A glorious, searing vision from the spice-slicked pits of my soul... A reality cooking show! Hosted by me! Broadcast straight from the netherworlds of eternal torment! We'll call it... HELL’S HOTDISH!
