Singer for Original Song: Opening/Theme song for a webtoon

Singer for Original Song: Opening/Theme song for a webtoon

Project Overview

I am looking for a Pop or Pop adjacent style singer to sing an Original song, which is the opening/theme song for my Webtoon.

I am looking for someone who is a practiced/experienced singer, who can add to the song and give it good energy.

This project is unpaid, you will be credited as the singer .

Song Details:

Vocal Type: Tenor or Alto
Song Range: 1 octave
Song Difficulty: Medium (Rhythms, Articulation)

Song length: ~3 min (Audition is not the full length of the song)

BPM: 120

About the song: I am creating a dub of my Webtoon, Clean Slate, which this song is to be the opening for. The perspective character is a male, but I am opening the vocals to any gender in order to get the best match. The character he is singing about he is in love with in the song is the Janitor.

For a signing style, I want specifically any pop or pop adjacent style. For example.
✅Pop

✅Anime Opening style

✅Jpop/Kpop style

✅Rock/Punk

✅etc

I don't want any of the following styles:
❌Classical style

❌Musical/Musical theatre style? (possibly exception since this is a diverse style and i don't know what I'm talking about)

❌Operatic

How to Audition:

  1. Singing along to the first verse and the first chorus of the Original song.
  2. If you have past songs you have sung, or other singing examples, please link them. This will be very useful for me.

Attached to the role description will be a google drive with tracks you can sing along to. Included in this will be:

  • A version of the backing track based on Am (Preferred to use this one: Songs original key)
  • A version of the backing track based on Fm (Only use if needed. slightly lower key)
  • A vocal midi guide which has the rhythm and pitches of the vocal part.
  • A version where I have sung the song so you can see lyric placement.
  • ❗ Warning: I am a bad singer. Please do not try to mimic my voice/tuning because I have sung it badly. This version only exists as a guide for the rhythm and placement of lyrics.

Lyrics are in the role details.

Lyrics
Verse 1:

An unexpected love,

A new infatuation.

Such a rare sight at first,

could have been my imagination.

And then I saw you all,

in the halls, hard at work

And I can't deny that I've got a new

distraction.  You-

Chorus:

Clean sweep me off my feet,

My heart skips a beat

In it's rhythm now I'm

Lost in a moment of youu--

Sweep me off my feet

clean up my

head, it's a mess

cuz you made it that way.

I don't know what to say,

I watch you every day,

and one day you will be mine,

you'll be mine, because you

clean sweep me off my feet

that's what I need.
