Plot Overview:
"Silent Battles" follows Briar Ashford, a new student at Crescent High struggling with social anxiety and depression after moving to Emberdale. As she builds new friendships and faces bullying, she and her peers navigate the complexities of mental health, identity, and the pressures of high school life. The series explores deep themes of vulnerability, self-discovery, and emotional growth.
Themes:
Mental Health Awareness, Bullying & Acceptance, Family Issues, LGBTQ+ Identity, Friendship & Loneliness and Self-Discovery.
Audition Rules:
Recording Quality: Clear audio with minimal background noise is required.
Commitment: Must be willing to submit lines on time.
Acting Range: Ability to convey a wide range of emotions, from vulnerable moments to strong, confident scenes.
Communication: Stay active in project discussions and keep in touch about deadlines.
Respect: Maintain a respectful environment for all cast members.
Multiple Roles: Audition for multiple roles if desired, but be prepared to commit to one.
Age: You must be 16 or older to audition.
Discord Requirement: Must have Discord for communication and project discussions. Please include your Discord handle with your audition.
Minecraft Bonus: Having Minecraft is not required, but it will give you a boost in your audition, as it may be helpful for body acting if needed.

The Protagonist
Personality: Shy and introverted, Briar struggles with social anxiety and uses art to express herself. She's trying to rebuild her life after her parents' divorce but finds it hard to open up to others.

Emotion Level: High. Needs strong emotional depth to portray anxiety, vulnerability, and growth over time.
Vocal Range: Medium. Soft and reserved, but able to convey intense emotions as her confidence builds.
