🎙️ Casting Call: Voice Actors for SIGNI FM SUMMER SPECIAL– A Story-Driven Lofi Radio Show 🎧
Project Overview
We’re looking for voice actors to help bring Signi FM to life. This is a fictional radio show that blends music, emotion, and storytelling. Every episode features chill beats, DJ monologues, and fictional listener calls from across the world of Signi.
About the Project
Signi FM is set in the fictional country of Signi, home to 21 states and a growing story universe. At the heart of it all is DJ Rhias, the station’s warm and thoughtful host. Alongside her, the voice of Sarah Morgan, a young archaeologist, echoes through some of the show’s more emotional storylines.
The project is part of the Signitunes brand, where every seasonal album is more than just music. It’s a piece of a larger narrative.
What We’re Casting
We need fictional callers who will:
Request songs from the album
Share personal stories, memories, or small victories
Ask for heartfelt advice
React to the delayed spring release with curiosity or humor
Tone and Direction
Think of someone calling into a real radio station. Speak casually. Keep it human. No heavy characters, no overacting. Just honest and grounded delivery.
Recording Guidelines:
Record remotely from a quiet space
Use a clear mic with minimal background noise
Each script will be short (about 1 to 2 minutes)
If you have vocal range, you may be cast as more than one voice

Hey Rhias, I wasn’t really sure if I’d go through with calling, but here I am!
So, I sent a text to someone today. We haven’t chatted in ages like, four years or so? It wasn’t anything too deep, just a simple: “Hey! You popped into my mind today. Hope you’re doing alright.”

Layla Hey there, Rhias! Thanks for having me on the show. I’m Layla from Roselane, Tremont.
So… I lost my grandfather three years ago. He was one of those guys who didn’t say much, but when he did, his words really stuck with you. Today would’ve been his birthday, and I thought I was doing alright. But then, as I walked by this old fruit stand he used to take me to, it hit me like a tidal wave. I just… I really miss him. It’s a quiet ache, but it runs deep.

Hey, Rhias. Thanks for having me. So, a few years back, I teamed up with a friend to start this creative agency. We built it from the ground up, just the two of us fueled by a shared vision and a serious lack of sleep. In the beginning? It was magical. Late nights, crazy ideas, and real momentum. But as time went on… things shifted. He started steering us in a direction I wasn’t quite ready to go. We had our disagreements. And eventually, he bought me out.

Hey Rhias. I’m Jude, calling from Carriston, Eastmount. So, this isn’t exactly a wild tale or anything, but today I found myself at the grocery store. I was just going through my list, but I felt a bit… off. Money’s tight, my hours got cut, and I’ve been carrying that weight for days now.

Hey Rhias! I’m Zion, calling from Westridge, Pinehill. I’ve been tuning into your show all afternoon, and first off, huge congrats on the two grand openings! That’s amazing! But honestly, I’m calling because I think a lot of us are wondering: How are you managing all of this? Two stores, same day, plus a whole radio show? Are you doing okay?
