⭐️Showstars is an indie series in development, the series consists on a psychological horror + thriller + drama series where 24 contestants are reunited in a small, isolated island to play games, but not innocent games. The story follows Igor, a normal 22 year old dude who's struggling with economy, he enters to finds an opportunity to change his life, little does he know this show might end his life instead. ⭐️
The project is based on Squid Game, Survivor, Total Drama and Danganronpa. So if you like this media, then Showstars is for you!
Its basically like a teatral plus celebrity themed reality show, but twisted.

Audio Engineer
🎧 Sound Designer / SFX
Your role will involve creating, editing, and implementing sounds that enhance the scenes and make the series feel more immersive. From everyday environmental sounds to unsettling atmospheres and carefully crafted sound effects, your work will help establish the mood, setting, and overall experience of Showstars.
You'll work with references and direction to develop sounds that fit the needs of each scene. We need it to feel natural and not overly cartoonish.
Requirements
- Have a good understanding of sound design and audio editing.
- Be able to create, edit, or manipulate sound effects and environmental audio.
- Be able to match sounds to specific scenes, actions, and atmospheres.
- Be comfortable following references, feedback, and directions.
- Make the audios good quality, we don't want the audios feel like they were recorded under the sea-
Preferred Skills
- Experience with sound design for animation, games, films, or other audiovisual projects.
- Familiarity with Foley, ambience, and environmental sound recording.
- Ability to create atmospheric, suspenseful, unsettling, or otherwise mood-specific sound effects.
- Experience layering and processing sounds to achieve a desired effect.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) or audio editing software.

Note: This role focuses on sound effects and environmental audio rather than composing music like the music composer. They're not the same thing!

Artist
🏞 Background artists and background concept artists
For the concept artists, we need you to have experience with perspective, 3D understanding and follow instructions. Because we will be giving you sketches and references.
As for the artists, almost the same, but we need you to understand lighting and color theory, we also need you to fit the show's artstyle so it doesn't look weird with the characters. Cartoon backgrounds.
Requirements
- Good understanding of perspective and 3D objects
- Know cartoony backgrounds
- Fit in with the show's artstyle

Artist
🖼️ Thumbnail Artist
We're looking for artists who can create eye-catching thumbnails for Showstars, particularly for the pilot episode and major events.
Your job will be to create visually engaging artwork that captures the audience's attention while staying true to the series' visual identity. We're looking for thumbnails that are expressive, memorable, and easy to understand at a glance, while showcasing the characters and atmosphere of Showstars.
You'll work with references and direction to develop compositions that fit the project's needs. Your artwork doesn't have to match the original style perfectly, but it should feel near it. So the change in artstyle is not drastic at the moment of clicking the thumbnail.
Requirements
- Be willing and able to adapt to Showstars' original art style without drastically changing its visual identity.
- Have a good understanding of composition, posing, and visual readability.
- Be able to create eye-catching artwork that remains clear and recognizable at smaller sizes.
- Maintain the characters' original silhouettes, proportions, and overall shapes.
- Be comfortable following references, feedback, and artistic direction.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating thumbnails, promotional artwork, or key art.
- Good use of colors, contrast, lighting, and composition without making it overly crowded.
- Ability to draw expressive characters and dynamic poses.
- Experience working with cartoon or stylized character designs.

Artist
🎨 Illustrator
Illustrators will create a variety of content for the project, including promotional illustrations, small meme comics, character icons, and artwork for short videos and social media posts.
We're looking for artists who can capture the charm of Showstars while adapting to its established artstyle. You don't need to replicate it perfectly, but your artwork should feel like it belongs in the same series!
Requirements
- Be willing and able to adapt to Showstars' original art style as closely as possible.
- Have a good understanding of character silhouettes, proportions, and overall shapes.
- Create visually appealing, expressive artwork without relying on excessive rendering or overly complex shading.
- Be able to maintain character consistency across different illustrations.
- Be comfortable following references and artistic direction.
Preferred Skills
- Experience drawing cartoon characters and expressive poses.
- Ability to create humorous illustrations and short comics.
- Familiarity with digital illustration tools.

Musician
🎵 Musician / Music Composer
You'll help develop the series' musical identity by creating tracks for different scenes. We mostly need it for the intro and outro of the series, this requiring a specific genre (diva-core, suspenseful plus reality show like.)
Requirements
- Be able to compose and/or produce original music.
- Have a good understanding of musical mood, atmosphere, and storytelling.
- Be able to follow references, direction, and feedback.
- Be willing to adapt your music to the needs and tone of the series.
- Provide audio files in an agreed-upon format and quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience composing music for animation, games, films, or other projects.
- Ability to work with different genres, instruments, and musical styles.
- Experience creating tracks like background music, intros, etc.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and music production software.
