Hello, we're Shonen Hump Productions, a bunch of weirdos who decided to do various parody content (I mean, our name is literally a parody of Shonen Jump). Here, we have yet another Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Abridged for you guys to try out for. While we have the majority of the cast settled, we are still missing several key important characters. Our direction for this abridged is still following the structure of Trigger Happy Havoc, but the rest is all sorts of wild west (i.e. different ultimates (like how Celestia Ludenberg would be the Ultimate MOBA player or Byakuya Togami would be the Ultimate Reddit), motives, some of the voices, and even some of the narrative beats. This project is non-paying.
We are pressed to make sure we get our cast settled before 2021 begins and releasing a pilot for a test audience before we advance beyond preproduction and airing around mid to late Spring of 2021. There are some requirements:
1. No Laptop/Phone Microphones. If you own a condenser USB mic (Yeti/ATR-2500 minimum or equivalent), this is also fine.
2. No buzzing or background noise. Noise reduction is fine but most auditions must be sent as is and with either .wav/mp3 format at 44100 hz or standard.
3. We are looking for acting ability for this abridged series. While it is awesome that you could do an impression of a character, we would also appreciate you could also do your own take. What matters is that you can perform with your acting ability.
4. A certain role would be marked as OPEN SEASON. This means we will cast ahead of the deadline due to the high demand of that particular character.
5. Two Takes per line with variety on each take!

Aoi Asahina is a very straightforward character to play, each of the lines will be open to interpretation so please say these lines the way you want and with variety!

Note: While the fandom likes to meme on how Chihiro is the manliest of the Danganronpa cast, we would prefer the more androgynous/feminine voice for him hence why we set it to Any Gender, as long as you can pull off the voice. Please interpret the lines the way you wish and be creative with your takes.

This is a crucial and complicated role. Junko has multiple personas that range different emotions, but the key to this is to have fun and go absolutely bonkers. Please do your lines with a lot of variety, but ALSO a lot of creativity.

This one's... odd. Our direction for Mukuro is very chaotic and to put simply: She's a crawling half-dead corpse screaming for help.
Angsty, Irritated, Full of Despair. This one has A LOT of muffled screaming. Please do not overexert your voice and take care if you plan on auditioning for this role. Don't worry, she won't be on screen ALL THE TIME. In addition, all her dialogue is somewhat internal. Also, she is the Ultimate Crocodile Dundee. We just came up with this and we thought this is going to be perfect.
