Shokugeki No Soma (Food Wars) Meet Hayama and Professor Shiomi Fandub
Project Overview
Hey everyone! DangerrZone coming at you with another fandub! This time it's Shokugeki No Soma aka Food Wars. I honestly love this anime so much that I want this to be a really good fandub. But once again I need the help of you guys to make this a fantastic fandub! This is going to be the scene in episode 19 where Soma and Megumi meet Akira Hayama and Jun Shiomi for the first time. I'll be voicing Akira Hayama himself. Have fun auditioning! :D
Alright we gonna start with some ground rules and requirements:
Decent microphone: It'd be a whole lot better if we had no backgorund noises and/or static.
Emotion/Character: When voice acting, you are not only throwing your voice in there, you are acting before anything else so that is a must as well.
Experience: This is available for everyone but you'd prolly have a better chance if you have experience in acting and/or voice acting. And im not talking about "that one time either". xD
What you're getting yourself into: By coming into this project, you might have an idea on what this anime is. That's wonderful. If you don't, that's fine as well. But you wanna watch it because it's epic.

A bookworm who has intensive knowledge of herbs and spices, Jun is an expert on the science of spices and their effects in cooking. Once she enters "lecture mode", she will solely focus on her lecture and will not notice anything else. Jun is extremely polite, has low self-esteem, and constantly apologies for her actions. Make her sound like a young woman while staying true to her appearance. Or make her sound like a young girl. Either one. Surprise me.
(Dead) "And in that way, as the most junior member of Polar Star Dormitory, I was subjected to Saiba's experiments at every turn, and tortured like you wont believe."
(Blushing) "B-being flattered by you gives me no joy."
"To start with, spices speak to these three factors: fragrance, spiciness, and color."
Very laid-back and relaxed. Calm. Likes to subject people to his disgusting recipes. Make him sound around medium-low.
"Huh? We have new blood?"
(Happy) "Want to try my new recipe?"
(Laugh maniacally)
Soma is an energetic and optimistic boy who has the constant drive to improve his cooking. He is confident in his skills and always seeks to challenge others to prove his abilities and test the limits of his cooking. He remains positive and cool under pressure, never backing down from a challenge and is always constantly thinking and evolving his cooking. I'd say make him medium- ranged.
"Uh, so who is the instructor of the lab here?"
(Happy and Oblivious) "Man, my dad really treated his kouhais poorly, didn't he, Tadokoro?"
(Challenging) "I'll let you taste curry that's even better than yours at the prelims."
Megumi is a clumsy, timid, thoughtful, kind, and honest girl who always speaks in a polite tone. She is a nurturing sort of person, always looking out for others and willing to assist them in any way that she can. Make her sound cute. Because that's what she is.
(Apologetic and Nervous) "I'm sorry for coming over without notice."
(Shocked and Excited) "The burst of spiciness in your mouth is much stronger in this one, too!"
"To think a dish could undergo such a dramatic change just by handling the spices a little differentely..."
Gin is a very serious, straightforward person.Gin also has a good eye for talent and is quite flexible when it comes to defending those whom he deems worthy enough to stay at Tōtsuki. Medium-low range or low range. Whichever you feel more comfortable with.(
"Welcome to Polar Star Dormitory."
(Impressed) "I heard you passed Ms. Fumio's entrance test in one try."
"Joichiro, wear your uniform."
