INTRODUCTION
Introducing our first manga dub. Shishunki Bitter Change will be the upcoming manga dub to be produced and we are looking for voice actors and actresses to fill in the roles. This is a body swap manga, but honestly, the premise and the concept of this story is like no other. It’s a very good manga and I do recommend if you could check it out! The synopsis of this manga stars two main characters, Yuuta Kimura and Yui Ootsuka. Both of their body swapped when Yuuta fell down from a tree while they were young. A story about how they cooperate and live their life through their adolescence age as they lived in each other’s body. A story filled with romance, drama, and many other twists.
OUR GOAL
We’ve got a goal we’re trying to reach as we are producing and making this manga dub come to life. We want to tell this story and also this manga isn’t very popular among young demographic and in the manga reading community, compared to other known manga that’s highly read and anticipated. My goal is to produce this manga dub and promote this wonderful story by Masayoshi. Another goal of ours is to dub the FULL series, even though it’s still on-going, we are expecting this manga series to end by the time we complete the first season for this manga dub series.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
We’re not looking for professional voice actors/actresses, but you will be required to have a good audio quality. We do have AQ (Audio Quality) Standard, and if you have any questions, please message me and let me know what we’re looking for. As long as you have a good audio quality, you should be good.
This project will be divided into two seasons. The first season will consist of 22 episodes (CH 1 - 48) and season 2 will consist of 12 episodes (49 - end). At this point, we’re not sure when this manga will end or how many chapters there are left, but if there are more chapters than what we anticipated, we might extend the number of episodes in season 2. This dub will be posted on YouTube. Everyone will be equally credited, regardless if you are playing main or minor roles.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FROM YOU
If you know that you’ve got nothing else better to do and got a lot of time in your schedule, we encourage you to audition. We’re going to be quite strict on deadlines for this one as we’re expecting to record all chapters (Chapter 1 - 48) from season one in 3 - 5 months. The deadline is tight, but we’re hoping to get this out rather than dragging this for a year. Other projects might take over 2 years and so to finish, but I don’t want to keep you guys hanging for a year and I believe you all got better things to do in life. So if you’re looking for a project that gets things done quick, as we expect the same from you; we would be happy to have you on board. PLEASE HAVE DISCORD as this will be our main communication base. Good audio quality and able to exile perfectly on the performance for the character you’re playing. We also recommend you to read the manga to get an idea. It’s sort of a mandatory requirement. So if you don’t have the time to read, we might not have you on board. Another important thing we’re looking for is for you to HAVE FUN!
ANY OTHER WAY TO BE APART OF IT
If you have read this manga and loved the series, but you may or may not be a great voice actor or actress but wanted to be a part of it in any other way, we’re open to have any behind the scenes crew. This includes but not limited to: Producers, writers, audio mixers, editors, creative team and organizers. If you’re interested to be in the BTS (Behind The Scenes) crew, message me on CCC and we’ll discuss any questions you may have or curious to know more about. There’s no limit to how many people can be apart of, but you’ll be going through some screening and review to determine if you’ll be eligible for the roles or not.
Required: Show your work sample (if you select an editor/sound mixer role), have read or familiarize yourself with this manga (not required but is an asset), and able to take charge and can meet deadlines.
All behind the scenes roles audition is located at the bottom of the list. Any other roles suggestions, please let me know! You will be credited through both our opening/ending theme for this manga dub for your hard contribution.

Kazuma Takaoka is a childhood friend of Yui Ootsuka and Yuuta Kimura. He is the only person who knows about the switch. He is a serious type and tends to deal with Yuuta's silliness and immaturity.

Tachibana Hayato is Yui's Ootsuka's classmate in High School. He is usually mistaken as delinquent due to his mean and scary aura. He usually tend to get into fights with other seniors and also get suspended a lot. He is a serious type and is in love with Yui Ootsuka.

He’s a supporting character, but he won’t appear far later in the chapter. He’ll appear in episode 10 (Chapter 21, 22, 23). He is the guardian of Hayato Tachibana and is always there to take care of him and support him. He tends to get angry at Hayato for his behaviour.

We are seeking 1-2 producers who are familiar with this manga to help make this series a possibility and a reality. Someone who has led their own projects before and have produce a manga dub project might probably be interested in this specific role. Couple duties include assisting voice actors and actresses on their roles and help guide them through difficulties they might be having, share creative ideas to make this manga series more entertaining and organized (Eg.g the way the series should be set up, etc.). And many more other duties that will be assigned. Producers will be credited for their contribution. Recommendations on CCC is also on the table.
