Project Overview
Are you ready to be part of an epic fantasy adventure set in a world divided by magic, power, and intrigue? Our series, Shifting Ranks, offers a unique opportunity for voice actors to bring to life a dynamic range of characters—from fierce warriors and cunning diplomats to mysterious agents lurking in the shadows. With rich, emotionally charged dialogue, intense action sequences, and complex character relationships, this story is brimming with opportunities to showcase your range and depth as a voice actor. Whether you resonate with the fiery determination of Kya, the witty banter of Cam, or the enigmatic presence of Morven, there’s a role here that will challenge and inspire you. Step into the world of Raoplex and help shape a tale of loyalty, betrayal, and the struggle for survival—your voice could be what makes this world come alive!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Upon being accepted as a VA, you will be sent a DM through discord and invited to both the team and community server. You will be warmly greeted by an amazing community and people. On behalf of all SR staff, we all are so glad to have this series be such a success so far, we are glad to have you helping out our project.

RULES/EXPECTATIONS
For VA Applicatns:
-MUST INCLUDE DISCORD IN APPLICATION DESCRIPTION!
-No bg noise/must have a relatively clean mic
-Must follow the correct auditioning lines
-Must be in by the deadline
-Must be okay with me casting you as a different character If I feel like you would fit that better
-Feel free to record your lines as many times as needed and with any tone changes for range (highly recommended!)
-Line re-dos are allowed but please do not spam re-dos, do them every couple of weeks or so
-mp3 is HIGHLY recommended but other audio files are welcome
-you must stick around, that meaning you must be able to voice act lines at any time and when they are needed for the series. You cannot apply, get accepted then ghost your position as a VA

More: Kya is a young, elite Ranker apprentice who wields elemental fire powers. She is known for her quick temper, intelligence, and fast reflexes. Raised within the ranks of the elite, she has spent her life training to become a skilled warrior. Kya is fiercely determined, often driven by a desire to prove herself, and her close bond with her best friend, Cam, provides her with support as they navigate the challenges of their shared path. Her fiery nature reflects both her personality and her powers, making her a force to be reckoned with.

More: Cam is a skilled Ranker apprentice known for his goofy sense of humor and kind heart. he’s quick to lighten the mood with jokes, but beneath his playful exterior lies a deeply protective and caring nature, especially when it comes to his best friend, Kya. Growing up and training together, Cam has honed his combat abilities, mastering electricity-based powers, yet he never lets the intensity of elite training get in the way of his gentle spirit. His ability to balance humor with responsibility makes him both a beloved companion and a formidable ally.

Mako is a sharp-witted strategist with the unique ability to control water. Despite his small and somewhat clumsy appearance, he is a master of subtlety and deception, often underestimated by others. He is a Shifter by hatch, but a strong ally to the Eclipse Syndicate. Mako thrives in the shadows, preferring to manipulate events from behind the scenes. His calm, calculating nature allows him to think several steps ahead, making him a valuable asset in political and tactical situations. However, his true motivations remain unclear, and his loyalties are often ambiguous, adding to his mysterious aura within the unfolding conflict.

Morven is a shadowy figure, serving as an agent of the secretive Eclipse Syndicate. Cloaked in a dark robe adorned with celestial patterns and hidden behind an ornate mask, his presence is both eerie and commanding. He is a master of stealth, espionage, and psychological manipulation, wielding his knowledge of mystical artifacts to bend the political landscape of Raoplex to his will. Morven’s ambitions are rooted in his desire to exploit the growing tensions between the Shifters and Rankers, using the chaos to elevate the Eclipse Syndicate’s influence. His ultimate goal is to control key elements of power through manipulation, all while keeping his true motives hidden in a complex web of deception.
