Shazam!: Godhood

Based on the original comics by C.C Beck and Bill Parker. Shazam!: Godhood is an animated movie made by Peak and Salad. The movie will be about Billy's coming-of-age and stepping up to be being hero.

As a young child, Billy Batson was living in Fawcett, a borough of Philadelphia. Orphaned, he spent time on the streets and in and out of the foster system. One day, early in the modern age of heroes, he fell asleep on a subway, and awoke to find himself in the Rock of Eternity. There, he encountered the uncountably ancient wizard Shazam, who had been seeking somebody pure of heart to pass along his great power to. Deeming Billy worthy, he chose him, entrusting him to be his champion.
In turn, Billy was empowered by the Wizard with the ability to transform into a powerful champion with the utterance of a single word- Shazam!.
Billy in this project is a troubled foster kid, who says things that even though they may hurt, they could be true. He has somewhat of humor, and he feels lonely most of the time.

(To The Wizard, talking from the heart) "Look, man, maybe this is magic, and, I don't know, but the people you're looking for, good, pure people, I'm not one of them."
(Casual) "Oh, you're... That guy."
William Joseph "Billy" Batson, also known as the superhero Shazam, is a foster child chosen by the wizard Shazam to be his final champion, granting him immense magical power from six legendary sources to help protect the entire world from the forces of evil. With the guidance of his foster brother and best friend Freddy Freeman.
When transformed into Shazam, he feels more energetic, he's less serious, he's more of a man-child.

(Heartfelt) "Freddy, I've never had a family. You know that. Everybody I've ever cared about, they all left me. My mom, my dad, everyone."
"I get it. I get what that's like. Feeling like you're all alone in the world. Feeling like there's that one thing, and if you could just find it, then you'd finally be good enough."
(Yelling) "SHAZAM!"
.Frederick Christopher "Freddy" Freeman is the best friend and foster brother of Billy Batson. When Billy was chosen by the wizard Shazam to become his champion, Freddy helped his best friend to come into his own with his new powers as the resident superhero expert.
He has good humor, loves comics and heroes, and he's genuinely nice.

(Angry, but heartful) "No shit! I would kill to have what you have!"
"A superhero is a superhero not because of their powers, but because of who they are. They have something inside them that makes them want to help people, to use their abilities to do some good in the world."
Thousands of years before Billy Batson became a magically empowered hero, the wizard Shazam selected a champion, his nephew, but as Teth was weak, his nephew Aman wanted to heal him, so he shared his power with Teth.
Teth is a corrupt-evil man, he doesn't care much for humanity, he just wants power and destruction.

(Lust for destruction) "With this power… We will finally free Kahndaq from Ibac and his men, Aman. We will DESTROY them."
"We must do this for your parents. For my wife and son. What they did to my dear Shiruta is UNSPEAKABLE- our family CALLS for JUSTICE!"
"You think you can stop me, Champion? You are over your head."
Shazam, commonly referred to as The Wizard, is a powerful sorcerer who lived in an otherworldly lair called the Rock of Eternity, and the only survivor of the Council of Wizards after a massacre orchestrated by Teth-Adam, who after granting his powers to Hurut as his champion, he eventually transferred them to Adam, to which Shazam managed to bury him.
He's a wise and old Wizard.

"Your power may flow through family, Aman. ACCEPT MY BLESSING AND YOU MAY SAVE HIM. BOTH OF YOU… SPEAK MY NAME, SHAZAM, AND BE CHAMPIONS!"
"You don’t have a shred of wisdom in that brain of yours. But your heart is wise. And it knows exactly what must be done. I spent millennia searching for a worthy champion and no one was worthy of what I once shared with my brothers and sisters. But when you shared your powers, you did not hesitate. "
"I open my heart to you, Billy Batson. And in so doing, choose you as champion."
Aman (13-14 years old) and his family, including Teth-Adam, were born into slavery under the oppressive rule of their master, Ibac. Aman harbored a strong desire to free their homeland, Kahndaq, from Ibac's tyranny. Recognizing Aman's potential, the Wizard selected him as his champion, offering him the opportunity to gain incredible powers. However, Aman agreed to become the Wizard's champion only if he would assist in rescuing his injured uncle, who had bravely attempted to save him but suffered a severe leg injury in the process.
Aman is more kind, he sees the good in people, he wants freedom, and he seeks to save the lost once he gets powers.

"I don’t want to destroy ANYONE, uncle. There has been too much bloodshed already. You heard the wizard–it is time for a NEW ERA in Kahndaq."
(Begging) "YOU MUST SAVE HIM, WIZARD! PLEASE! He is, the ONLY family I have LEFT!"
