Project Overview

Shane vs Jah is a 3D animated series utilizing Motion Capture and rendered entirely in Unreal Engine 5. While it's centered around superheroes, the show is largely about the interpersonal issues between the characters and how much the days, and lines, blur and get crossed far too easily. A series about affair, heartbreak and betrayal and yet tells a tale of beautiful acceptance and overcoming the bad things we've already done and fight to make right by it in the future.

    Hey everyone, I'm blown away by the amount of auditions I've received and thoroughly appreciate you all! Due to this, I'd like to expand on what exactly you're auditioning for so you know what you're getting into and what you may be encouraged to do that you've yet to try out.

    Shane vs Jah is a series I started on YouTube in 2019 as a joke, but later fell in love with and branched out into its own original universe. While Shane vs Jah is the web that connects them all, with most characters appearing there first or more prominently, many of them have screen time in spin-off films (both short and feature length) as either prominent or cameo-type roles. Most the scripts are in their final draft stages, hence why they've been grouped together as one project. If casted and sent your scripts, do not be alarmed to see titles like 'Requital of the Necromancers' and 'Genesis of The Green Guardian' as those films connect directly to the series and act as stepping stones between seasons. While I'm fairly lenient when it comes to deadlines for lines, I understand this may be too large of a commitment for people and wanted to make that clearer for those that may effect. The descriptions have also been updated to list the scripts the characters currently appear in.

    Imagine this as joining a bite sized cinematic universe, but don't forget to have FUN. I am over the moon with the auditions I've gotten, but at the core of Shane vs Jah is a lot of situational humor taken with a straight face by our characters and we thrive with over the top voices for side characters. The world is populated with aliens and mutated creatures that most roles have some sort of unnatural element to them that enhances a more stylized performance in a more realistic art style. I've added even more roles from more recent scripts, such as the fifth season of Shane vs Jah as the current draft is going far quicker than anticipated.

    PS, do not be afraid to audition for multiple roles as you can be CAST as multiple roles. I myself have played a ton of secondary and lead roles throughout the series, and I've cast many people as two to three as well. I absolutely love the wacky ways you can manipulate your voice so don't shy away from bringing it to the light. Joel is a poor orphan whose turned to a life of crime in order to provide for his sister. He is a Necromancer, someone who possesses Magick, and uses it to help his life of crime. He's fairly closed off, which can present itself in sarcastic and stand-off-ish ways but when he's comfortable around you he's fairly soft spoken and nice, but all around shy and only speaks when he's confident on what he's saying. Opposite to most people, he's rather be wrong in front of a stranger than his friends, often being wordy to criminals, but not really to his friends. Ages 18-35

Brother of the infamous Edwin Tirre, Samuel is where his fable truly begins. When Earth-10 was decimated Samuel Tirre gave his life to send Edwin to a parallel world, thus saving his life. Edwin, reeling over the loss, attempts to find his brother in this new world only for things to be very, very wrong. Samuel Tirre of Earth-23 is a snobby trust-fund kid who wants nothing to do with Edwin, even after learning of his name.
