Separate Directions Casting Call
Project Overview
Hello there! Me and a fellow voice actor/comic creator have been hard at work on a vocal comic called Separate Directions!! It's about two very different, yet, somewhat similar idol groups. Compass was all about pleasing the people and making so many hits, but GPS was made by the same company of 8 superfans of the group Compass, to be a somewhat sub group to the massive hit. Season One is about8 about the coming of this new idol group Compass, and their struggles with fame and fortune. They have rivalries with each other and learn what it means to be have stardom and the challenges that come with it. Season Two is about the start of GPS and their journey through their new found stardom and being thrown into the middle of all of the turbulences that stardom brings with it.
At the moment, we are casting season one characters! So don't worry if you do not get a role, there will be more in the future!
Some Rules for the audition:
1. Please be older than 13 years old. Most characters are over 20 and don't sound like youngsters.
2. Little to no backround noise Please!
3. You must have discord. If you don't, then I would suggest getting one for this if your wanting to audition.
4. Please, please, please turn lines in on time. It's imperative that you have them turned into me on time. If you don't, I'll cry. If you have a reason like yo, can't send in the lines on time my dude, on vacation or in the hospital then Oki doki, try to get them in whenever you can!
5. There is singing. Please, if your going for a singing role, please have a little experience singing. There are a lot of moments when you sing if u get it, and I gotta know if your able to play that part.
6. Show emotions! Please no robots during the audition, that's not going to land you the role. Well, unless I have an actual robot I need to cast.
7. Last but not least, Have fun! I want this to be fun for everyone, so have fun in the audition! This will take a while so be prepared for being a part of this production for a while.

All I do is work, and what do I get for that? Nothing! Nothing I do ever good enough, to help my family have a better life.
Look, I don’t even know if I’m gay! I’ve never even been in a relationship before, I’m not prepared for this! Nobody has ever appreciated me before!
West originally was going to register to be in the National Football League but due to fatal injuries in his left leg he had to quit football to recover and go through physical therapy and mental therapy ( his father is a football coach and at a young age west’s dad got him into football and as the years went by West himself always worked to be by his dad’s side in sports. On West’s parents anniversary they went out and left the house to West but, during the night robbers had gotten into the house and West did his best to fight them off but once they got a hold of him they had tied him up and beaten his left leg leaving fatal damage and when his parents had arrived back home it was a dark and drab night that awaited them West had to stay in the hospital for a whole year for physical examinations and recovery which lead to
therapy both physical and mental) While West went through therapy he had found a new interest in dancing and singing. He had felt it was a connection with his body and mind in a sort of equilibrium. His father and him were both sad at the fact that even though his leg had healed tremendously he still would not be able to play football again but, West didn’t let his hopes get down since he found something else he was passionate about through this tragedy and because of that his parents support him in that decision even if a little sad at losing a possible NFL star but, he’ll always watch football with his family and throw a ball around once in a while. His main goal out of this is to enjoy himself.

You think I’m not upset for the fact that I can’t ever play football again?! It’s agonizing having your dreams being flushed down the toilet after being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
A backup dancer for Compass she had originally wanted to be a singer but because of her mild turrets she had been put as a backup dancer by the manager, which she happily obliged to. She might have a disability but she puts her best into what she does. Since most of the concerts the perform at at large it usually drowns out any ticks that come out. Her other members have grown accustomed to the ticks and reassure her that it doesn’t interrupt the flow of performances or practice.
Do you think I like having turrets and not be able to achieve most things because of it?! It’s hell for me!
Why can’t I just be normal, that’s all I want. I don’t want this, I never did. I just want to be normal.
C’mon, we can do this! You can really do anything if you put your heart and soul into it! Well, except for flying like a superhero. Now that’s impossible.
Northeast only joined compass to become a lady killer and get the attention she “deserves” with her smooth voice and looks. Of course that cocky attitude landed her as a backup dancer but, since she still gets a slice of the pie she doesn’t really complain. If desperate were a person well Northeast would be it. Often times NE is envious of Easts looks and charisma and, those conversations usually end up in East either saying he doesn’t understand what he means or just being blunt in saying he doesn’t care for relationships
Her voice should be mature, smooth, medium/low pitched, she is super desperate.
Why don’t you swing my way baby (pause for dramatic effect) Please, I’m desperate
Why doesn’t anyone love me? Do I not deserve love? What did I do to deserve this? (sad, almost crying)
Stop ignoring me! God, I try and try, and get what? Nothing. Nothing I do is good enough for you is it!
Southwest had joined Compass to escape reality and too let out her aggression towards her terrible home life. She never really likes to tell others about her personal life besides the fact that she lives with her Aunt and Uncle for family issues. Ever since she had found Compass she has been more social and happy then she had been in years. She’s still a way away but she is on her way to healing thanks to her co workers that had become her close.friends
Her voice is medium/low, she's shy and very timid

I’m sorry, but I just worry that what happened in my past will come back to haunt me in a relationship. So ignoring you is the best option.
.SE is a very grim person to be and be around and, yet somehow ended up in a band singing and dancing to such happy tunes. He only joined Compass to show his parents that he wasn’t a total outcast and could do something social. SE is usually very secretive about his personal life and intends to keep it that way. Hopefully the creators will make him more interesting at some point.
His voice should sound mysterious, smooth, low pitched.
I’d rather not talk about my personal life… All I’ll say is that it is, interesting….

She's such a sweet and caring girlfriend too South. She's the girl to be that grandma that would bake you cookies no matter where you were, even the moon.
