Secrets of the Shadows (Original Animated Series)
Project Overview
Secrets of the Shadows Is an Original Animated Series that I write and animate myself for the past couple of years (you can watch it by clicking here) Trust me the animation and story get better lmao.
I have been using Text for dialogue and I plan to continue to do it that way, But I have been wanting to try to use vocalizations like in "The Legend of Zelda". (with occasional full sentences) to try to give each character more personality. There is a good example of how its most likely going to turn out here here.
This will include -
- Short sentences, words, and noises
- Grunts and vocal expressions (mostly for fight/action scenes)
- Occasionally reading out full sentences of dialogue.
At the moment I do not make enough money off Youtube to give out a salary but we can try to work something out.
At the end of each episode and in the description you will be in the credits with all of the social medias that you have that you would like me to promote so you can be properly credited for your work.

Jacqueline is the best friend of Max.
After trying to kill the series antagonist the Reaper, a large dark figure monster bent on killing everyone for the betterment of humanity, with Max, she was almost killed and then kidnapped and forced to work with The Reaper for fit his goals. She was tricked into believing that working with him is the best option in the long run so she can be with Max(not in a creepy, obsessive way).. Even though she is thinks she might be doing the right thing, whenever she sees Max she still feels guilt for what shes done, but shes bad at hiding it.
(max has tried to convince Jacqueline out of working with the Reaper but Jacqueline refuses to listen) Max... Please... I'm doing this for us. You've got to understand.
(The Reaper has told Jacqueline that for his plan to work shes going to have to fight Max) There surely has to be another way... I don't want to have to hurt him.
(Questioning the reaper after he kidnapped her) What are you playing at you psycho!? How am I still alive?
Ever since The Reaper killed Max's mom when he was 7, he has had Vendetta against him. After him and his best friend Jacqueline obtained their powers, He had been looking all over to find the Reaper so he can get his revenge. Being blinded by rage, Max took Jacqueline with him to try to find it without thinking what the consequences might be. He then regretted it. During the fight the Reaper had Beaten Jacqueline half to death then kidnapped her to get her on his side. This caused Max to feel like it was his fault for letting this happen to his best friend and mother. That set Max to do what ever it takes to Save his friend and kill that monster.
Max is easily upset by his mother's death and Jacquelines disappearance
Is Determined to fix his mistakes and do what's right.
(after finding the location of where The Reaper was Max and Jacqueline begin to pursuit it, but Jacqueline stops him to say that this might not be the best idea since they could get hurt)
"I don't care if I dont make it out alive, I WON'T let that monster get away without consequence..."
(after The Reaper takes Jacqueline, Max is left alone to his thoughts. Heartbroken, he get mad at him self for what just happened)
"God, I'm So pathetic... I let that creature take my friend as I just sat there and watched, I was too blinded by my own rage to even think about what might have happened to her."
(after finding the reaper for the second time max thinks to him self).
"I have nothing to lose now, He won't get away this time!."
After his wife died to The Reaper (the main villian of the series) , the only close family Chris had left was Max. Chris is extremely overprotective of his son. He doesn't want to lose him too, so he tries his best to protect him the best he can.
(max wakes up from a nightmare in Chris' hands. Chris tries to comfort him")
"Max its ok it was just a nightmare, I won't ever leave you. don't worry"
(max tries to leave the house to fight The Reaper, The series, main antagonist, but Chris refuses to let max go).
"Max please... Don't Leave, I cant just sit and watch you risk your life in a battle you know you can't win. I don't want to lose you too."
(max talks to his Chris about how he misses his mom, Chris then tries to comfort him)
I miss her too, but we have to learn to move on, Its what she would have wanted us to do.
The Reaper is the Main antagonist of the series. He is a lab experiment gone wrong that is now bent on ending humanity to free everyone from this world.
He is very cocky and sarcastic (like Bill Cipher from Gravity falls)
My headcannon voice for him is a monstrous/glitchy thats pretty deep. but you can play around with what you think fits him the best.
(Jacqueline gets mad and start throwing questions asking why The Reaper kidnapped her, but he just gives a witty response, sarcastically avoiding all the questions she asked)
"awwww. Is little baby gonna cry??? "
(The reaper finishes telling Jacqueline why he should join his side, right as she starts considering he then tells her this)
"With our power combined, nothing can get in our way. We will be unstoppable. "

"Take my hand and I promise I'll make sure you live your happily ever after.
These are just incase I need voice actors for any extra characters that might only show up for a scene or two.
Your audition can be any gender of any age it just wont let me more than just "young adult".
