Ever since The Reaper killed Max's mom when he was 7, he has had Vendetta against him. After him and his best friend Jacqueline obtained their powers, He had been looking all over to find the Reaper so he can get his revenge. Being blinded by rage, Max took Jacqueline with him to try to find it without thinking what the consequences might be. He then regretted it. During the fight the Reaper had Beaten Jacqueline half to death then kidnapped her to get her on his side. This caused Max to feel like it was his fault for letting this happen to his best friend and mother. That set Max to do what ever it takes to Save his friend and kill that monster.
Max is easily upset by his mother's death and Jacquelines disappearance
Is Determined to fix his mistakes and do what's right.
(after finding the location of where The Reaper was Max and Jacqueline begin to pursuit it, but Jacqueline stops him to say that this might not be the best idea since they could get hurt)
"I don't care if I dont make it out alive, I WON'T let that monster get away without consequence..."
(after The Reaper takes Jacqueline, Max is left alone to his thoughts. Heartbroken, he get mad at him self for what just happened)
"God, I'm So pathetic... I let that creature take my friend as I just sat there and watched, I was too blinded by my own rage to even think about what might have happened to her."
(after finding the reaper for the second time max thinks to him self).
"I have nothing to lose now, He won't get away this time!."
