[STILL HIRING] Scriptwriter for YouTube videos covering disturbing internet topics

I'm looking for a scriptwriter and researcher for a YouTube channel with 80,000+ subscribers that focuses on disturbing things on the internet. Internet mysteries, strange communities, shock sites, online crimes, disturbing media, lost media, bizarre phenomena, and more. It isn't specifically a true-crime or supernatural channel; the topics can come from many different corners of the internet, with a focus on obscure, unusual, and disturbing online content or stories. The topics for these videos will require a lot of investigation and research.

I'm looking for someone with experience researching obscure internet topics and turning them into engaging documentary-style scripts. Experience with YouTube, internet culture, Reddit, forums, online communities, lost media, internet mysteries, or similar content is preferred.

Strong research skills are especially important, as these videos often require digging through old websites, archived pages, Reddit posts, forums, videos, news reports, and other scattered sources to piece together a story. You should also be comfortable researching topics where information may be incomplete, contradictory, or difficult to find.

Please apply only if you’re able to dedicate enough time to this project, as it will be time consuming and research heavy. Prior experience in writing and researching content is strongly preferred.

I would also prefer applicants who are genuinely interested in this type of content and comfortable working with these topics.

For the submission, please submit your previous work, preferably something similar to this type of content. If you don't have anything relevant, you can write a small sample about investigating any disturbing mystery or phenomenon on the internet. The sample should showcase both your writing and research skills It doesn't have to be too long.

If AI is doing the work for you, don’t apply. Let’s save everyone some time.

Avg video Length: 1.5- 2 hours
Pay - $300 per video

Deadline for each script will generally be 3 weeks.

Also, if this post is up, i am still hiring.
