This is Scooby Apocalypse. This is not only a remake of my project from almost 5 years ago (original video posted above), This is an attempt to do the whole series. That being said, I'm looking for committed people to join my voice cast. No "one and done" attitudes. I ask that with your submissions you include your discord names. NO DISCORD, NO CONSIDERATION. Also, I want to make sure that I am perfectly clear that this is a FAN project. Meaning its non profit. I'm not getting paid to do this. This is just for fun and the enjoyment of Scooby Doo so please don't submit auditions then hit me with rates if you're cast. One last thing, PLEASE know something about Scooby Doo before you audition. Yes, I have had people audition back when i made the original and have no idea what Scooby Doo was.
Story summary: Scooby Apocalypse is a comic series released by DC Comics in association with Hanna Barbera back in 2016. Its an awesome series. The world as we know it has become an apocalyptic nightmare with REAL MONSTERS! Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, And Scooby travel all across the country and investigate the Nanite Virus that turned the whole world into real monsters. Can they find a cure and rebuild civilization or will the monsters eat them?
I am closing auditions a week early. I have found the voice actors I need. Some chosen offsite, Some chosen here. Do not get discouraged if you were not picked. Casting for Daphne Blake has been closed. Thank you for your submissions for the character of Daphne Blake. I have the original voice actress for Daphne joining the project again. I still need Fred Jones and Velma Dinkley.
Quick Update: Updated an unfinished line for Fred. Don't worry, You don't have to resubmit lines if you have already submitted. Also, the auditions so far are really good. Not the same Fred Jones we all grew up with. This Fred Jones is Daphne Blake's most loyal friend and camera operator. Fred is jittery and questionable at times, But also has the heart of a lion.
(trying to lighten the situation) Well, Daph, Look like you got the big story you were looking for. Too bad the world as we know it’s gonna end or you’d be a ratings sensation again.
I’ve heard this a thousand times before… and it’s not that I disagree with you… But don’t you think you could make more of a difference if you were working INSIDE the mainstream instead of working the field?
(dismissive) Please! We got bounced from prime time on a major network to the 4AM slot on the Knitting Channel! Our entire audience is six insomniac old ladies who don’t know how to work a TV remote! (sincere) Don’t you think it’s time to face the fact that “Daphne Blake’s Mysterious Mysteries” is history?
This is not the Daphne Blake we all grew up with. There is no "damsel in distress" with this Daphne. She is a badass, Takes no shit, and not afraid to throw a punch. But she is also sentimental when she needs to be. She is desperately trying to get her show back on top of the ratings. She may have just found her scoop of the century.
Some of these "weirdos" are genuine visionaries. Men and women come from all over the world to discuss way to stop our planet from self destructing.
This show is my life and I’m gonna get it off life support and back to the top of the ratings… Or DIE trying!

Similar to the Velma we all grew up with. Definitely more on the awkward, people avoiding personality. A bit secretive. Knows a lot more than she is letting on.
The original intent of Project Elysium was to weed out man’s baser instincts. Greed, Anger, Urge to violence. Providing the biological template for a more abundant and peaceful world.
You know as well as I do, Mr. Rogers, That Scooby was one of our earliest attempts at the Smart Dog. But he lacked both the killer instincts and the intelligence the government required.
