School bus graveyard: webcomic fandub
Project Overview
This project is a fully voiced and audio engineered dub of School Bus Graveyard- a horror-drama-thriller-comedy webcomic by Red (also known as lilredbeany) and hosted by Webtoons. The comic follows Ashlyn, a highschool loner, and her group of "friends" being forced to stick together every night to survive the monsters that only they can see.
Content warning: Blood, gore, body horror, violence, guns/knives, minor drug use.
Rules and requirements.
You must be 13 years or older to audition for this project.
You must have a Discord account, as our community operates there.

You must be able to work and communicate with your director and team in a timely manner, meet established deadlines, complete tasks necessary for successful cooperation, and communicate any needed extensions prior to any deadlines you may need extra time for.
You must be able to submit your completed work as the required file type or quality, including WAV files or high resolution, and the quality of your submission will be expected in all future work if you are cast, including your file type, microphone quality (unless upgraded) and the presence or lack of background noise. Please submit a level of quality that you can consistently provide.
Voice actors must record each provided audition line at least once. Please do not record one line more than three times. Several auditions will not be accepted, and we will use your most recent audition as your "true" audition. Do not slate in your audition.

Mr Thomas is the new teacher in school and is excited to start his career. Little do the students know that he has a dark secret.
You should be able to have a warm comforting teacher like voice (you know that one nice teacher that every student likes? Ya that) but as the story goes on you should be able to have a more sinister/manipulative kind of tone.

Jasmine is an evil character depicted as sweet and kind. She starts as a simple tour guide but we quickly figure out she is just a pawn in a much bigger plan.
Jasmine should sound fake happy. She is trying to persuade you, manipulate you. Jasmine is a master manipulator, she should not be underestimated in any situation.

We are looking for 2-4 video editors to take turns editing together the audio provided by the audio engineers (voice lines, music, and sound effects all put together into a complete soundscape) and the comic into complete episodes
As one of our video editors, your job will be to take the provided audio and adapt it with the existing comic panels into even more visually engaging episodes through panning, tweening, animation, transitions, timing, isolation, and/or prioritization of available visual media, based on the tone of the scene, panel type, provided soundscape, and your own editing style, to finish bringing the dub to life in it's final production stage.

We are looking for 2-4 audio engineers to take turns editing together the recorded character lines with necessary sound effects and music to create a fully mastered soundscape for each episode.
As one of our audio engineers, your job will be to process all completed character lines through EQ normalization, noise reduction, volume balance, and /or other engineering methods to create a consistent level of quality between each voice actor's audio, and combine them with original or appropriately outsourced sound effects and music into a detailed and immersive soundscape using a wide array of sound effects, mastered recordings, and cinematic timing.

We are looking for 1-2 sound effect designers to create original sound effects for our audio engineers.
As our sound effect designer, your job will be to create custom sound effects as needed for various creatures and/or scenes, primarily the eerie Phantoms of School Bus Graveyard, by digitally altering and mastering appropriately outsourced or personally recorded foley.

We are looking for 1-2 composers to help create a unique soundtrack for the comic dub.
As one of our composers, your job will be to create different kinds of musical scores as needed for various episodes, ranging from suspenseful and fast to peaceful and ambient, as well as create an iconic theme for the entire series.
