Project Overview
INTRODUCTION / PROJECT OVERVIEW
Hello! My name is Intro-Mind, a content creator who posts videos on my YouTube channel. I'm currently in need of a voice actress for my ongoing Halo 3 machinima series, "Sandguardians".
The series is very much a coming-of-age story overall, greatly inspired by "Red vs. Blue" (of course) but it isn't a cloned copy. Power Rangers, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings also act as inspirations in addition to RvB, containing lots of sci-fi action, comedy, and drama.
You can view the series on my YouTube channel or read more about it on its own Fandom site. Right now the series has 3 seasons, spanning 50 episodes, and I'm currently producing Season 4 which will have 15 episodes (the character herself won't appear in all 15 episodes as there are many characters). Episode lengths range from 6-10 minutes. Scripts have been written for each episode and I hope to start releasing episodes around April 2022.
CHARACTER OVERVIEW
The character is named Natasha Claire, one of the main characters in the series who first appears in Season 1. I have been playing the character myself since I started the show back in 2011 when I first began making videos because I had no idea how to find VAs at the time. My portrayal was pretty cringey, but I did what I could with what I had. As I've gotten better at producing the show, I want to do the character justice and get a proper actress to play her. My audience has put up with my voice for long enough, haha.

FINAL NOTES
This project has always been a fun passion project of mine and is unpaid. I don't want to waste anyone's time, so if this affects your decision to audition I completely understand. I'm very lenient on things and never want to spam actors for lines or micromanage, due to all of us having our own responsibilities. We've all got stuff going on and I don't want to bog anyone down with this. I'm also fairly new to this site, having migrated from VoiceActingAlliance back in the day haha, but it is extremely user-friendly and has some really great talent! If I made a mistake on how things usually go here, please let me know!

Natasha Claire (female, early-mid 20s, any ethnicity, American) Claire is a snarky yet compassionate soldier; she is not afraid to say what's on her mind (no matter how blunt) but is unwilling to leave someone behind.
Being in a male-dominated environment, she uses sarcasm to mask her insecurities and even developed a knack for picking up and exploiting other people's insecurities. This has made her a bit selfish and self-serving. However, upon becoming a leader, Claire grows to be very supportive of her teammates and holds them & herself accountable when they make mistakes.
She is adaptable, strategic, and very open to learning. However, she is also anxious, diffident, a bit in over her head, and holds a lot of self-doubt. Her story throughout the series is definitely a coming-of-age one - from an immature & self-centered person to a more brave and compassionate one.

These characters all have traits that Claire possesses: mostly confident, insecure, puts up walls, and is in need of a sense of direction. You can read more about Claire here.
[You're reminiscing with a friend around a campfire about a former annoying acquaintance named Thomas. As you recall those fun memories, your current reality sinks in and you realize that those days are long gone.]
"Remember when you screamed in Thomas's face for trying to make us fix his car? (chuckles) And then you somehow convinced him to fix ours and his own! (laughs) You were such an asshole! I mean, c'mon, you were. ...I miss that. Just messing around when we were supposed to be "working". ...I can't believe how much has changed."
[You're fed up with your two older brothers arguing and decide to put a stop to it.]
"Will you guys shut up! You’re whining like 10-year-olds! Gates, you are being a grade-A asshole and Miller did do one thing: he saved our lives. If it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t be here right now. Miller, you haven’t really contributed that much to the team as you think you have; you have to get more involved and say what's on your mind. Now I want you two to apologize to each other right now! That's an order!"
[You feel guilty for getting your best friend fired from a life-changing career.]
"I did that. I did that to Rachel, my best friend. I swear, I didn't even know I was capable of doing something like that. ...Y'know, my grandmother told me, 'Remember what's important to you. Don't lose sight of that.' But this job... when Miranda complimented my design... I couldn't help myself, I wanted to keep impressing her. I wanted her to trust me so bad. When she asked if Rachel was dead weight... I did what I thought was important to me; I put my job over my friend."
