Sails & Secrets - Voice Actor Needed for YouTube/Patreon Audio Roleplay
Project Overview
I am an immersive audio creator and voiceover artist on YouTube and Patreon seeking a male-presenting VA to be spotlighted in my original pirate series Sails & Secrets! This is a projected 8-part series. 3 parts are currently live as of this posting. I am happy to pay a flat rate of $50 for your work with the understanding that my Patreon is monetized but my YouTube channel is not quite there. I am a relatively small creator looking to jumpstart things, but I believe artists should be paid! I'm also very glad to give you a WAV file of the finished audio so you can use it for a character reel if you deem it worthy!
I am a sharer! If you have shareable links, I try to post them with my videos. I would consider linking to your channel if you are a YouTube/Patreon VA so that we can get you some views and clicks as well!
Timing: I don't plan on producing this until November at the earliest, so you've got plenty of time to audition. I like to communicate over Discord! Your recording would essentially be self-directed. I may ask for a pickup or two, nothing too major.
PLEASE READ: I am a faceless creator, and I do have NSFW content on my Patreon page. For that reason, it's important to me that I cast an actor who is not a minor. Your part in this episode and this whole episode in particular would absolutely be SFW.

Statement on AI: If you do choose to visit my YouTube channel, you'll see that some of my video thumbnails include AI-generated art. AI-generated art is not something I want to perpetuate the use of and is not something I feel good about. As of this posting, I have finally been able to afford to commission independent artists for some Bit Crush branded materials and my intention is that new characters and stories to be produced in the future will include original thumbnail art. Pirate and Captain of The Wraiths. Mature, masculine-presenting. This is a man with a complex past. Rumors of Tyndale and the Wraiths are that they are bloodthirsty and ferocious, leaving few survivors, but this character is part of a major twist in the story! I am looking for a dynamic and emotional portrayal, possibly twofold. The Projection of Tyndale, who is bombastic and maybe a bit stereotypical, and the Actual Tyndale, who is sensitive and intelligent. Intelligent enough to avoid capture by the British Royal Navy for years. Open to all kinds of accents - show me what you've got!
