Sailor Moon Missing Episodes English Fandub (Extra Page)
Project Overview
NOTE: If a character is listed as casted, you can still audition. We may need different voice actors/actresses for a character in different episodes.
This fandub project has dubbed episodes of Sailor Moon in English that were skipped during syndication by DiC & Cloverway. Our aim is to produce dubs in the style of this original 90s dub, but with NO censorship! We use all the original dub names (Serena, Amy, Lita, Raye, Mina, and Darien), re-created and made new transitions, and combination the musical scores by Takanori Arisawa (OG Japanese composer) and Bob Summer (OG dub composer).
This is an ongoing project.
This is an extra page for auditions, etc. that is connected to the two Sailor Moon (and Sailor Stars) casting calls listed on this site, organized by fighter4luv-fandubs/Corza Moon. This casting call page was created on behalf of myself and Corza Moon. Various parts will be listed here temporarily so that people can still audition for select characters that are available before the parts are moved to the main Sailor Moon/Sailor Stars casting call pages.
****PLEASE FOLLOW US SO WE CAN CONTACT YOU WHEN YOU AUDITION****
*Also, if a part has been casted, you may still audition for it if you want. We sometimes have more than one VA for a character, depending on various factors.

Cute animal noises; voice actors/actresses can audition for this role as well; not just sound designers/audio engineers.

Please note that since this fandub is based on the original English dub and somewhat continues off of it in its style, etc., Fish Eye is female here. Her voice and tone create or give off somewhat of a villainous hothead, and their tone and pitch can be comparable to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, although not as high as Minnie's can sometimes be. With that being said, however, they can still be loud and really project their voices like the other villains at times, so she's not always or necessarily speaking quietly or calmly, tone-wise.
Fish Eye, reporting!
At your service, master.
Don't get too cocky, Sailor Moon.
Sailor Star Fighter has a strong heroine voice when in battle or fighting as her Star Fighter persona. In normal life, the character has a cocky, smooth, very typical guy voice with a slight feminine twist.
(yelling and gradually building) Fighter Star Power!
(cocky and/or confident) Oh, I'm dating THE Sailor Moon. Yeah, thats right. I wooed her with my awesome singing. *gets foot stepped on * Ouch! Sorry, Serena. *chuckles*
(sad, concerned and comforting) Oh, Serena. ...Am I...not good enough for you?
Chibi Chibi is often childish, happy and carefree, especially earlier on in the episodes where she appears. While she appears to be approximately 1-2 years old, her age is relatively unknown. For most of her screentime, she only says her name.
(Try recording all 3 audition lines with different inflections and emotions as a means of showcasing range.)
Chibi Chibi!
Chibi?
Nothing to fight for? Nothing to fight for?
There are no lines for this spirit. She only makes ghost sounds as mentioned in the title of this role, but not necessarily/just the stereotypical "Ooooooh" noises. It has to be much more than that. She can also sound surreal, ethereal, otherworldly, and potentially terrifying for the other characters.
*moaning sounds*
*spooky, otherworldly groaning sounds*
*shrieking*
Raye is a fiery, boy-crazed girl who often talks down to Serena/Sailor Moon or is annoyed by her. Her voice is often somewhat high and/or bratty. In battle, she is a bit more focused on the battle itself than Sailor Moon's occasional incompetence, though she doesn't entirely forget about it.
Serena, you are so dumb. All you think about is eating. No wonder Darien has issues with you.
(in battle) I don't know what's going on, but you'll pay for your evil deeds, monster!
Don't be ridiculous! I just wanted to thank him for helping us save the passengers! And besides, you're the one who has feelings for him, isn't that right? Wake up honey, sometimes those feelings are only one sided.
Lita, or Sailor Jupiter, is a tomboyish teenage girl who transfers to Sailor Moon's (or Serena's) in the first season of the show. She is tough, confident, powerful, and always looks out for her friends, whether in battle or in their daily lives. Her voice can be considered a little raspy, but not too much. Please note that the slight rasp is an important part of the voice.
I am Sailor Jupiter, and I shall punish you in the name of Jupiter!
Don't give up so easily. So what if he already has a girlfriend. Even if you get rejected, it's worth giving it a shot. Crying isn't going to get you anywhere.
And just what do you think you're doing to my hero Sailor Moon?!
Luna is a black guardian cat who helps look after the Sailor Scouts, and lives with Serena/Sailor Moon. She often is a mentor to Sailor Moon, and often disciplines or keeps her in line whenever she's not doing what she's supposed to do or slacking off. In the original dub and this fandub, she has a British accent that could be considered posh, or somewhat posh.
*She is marked as a senior under Age because of her voice, even though she may be much younger than she may sound.
Relax? Serena, you like to rest and sleep every day.
Hurry, girls! Transform and send this monster back to the Nega-verse!
Serena, get up! This isn't homework, this is a situation that needs Sailor Moon!
Mina is caring towards others and yet, like Serena, pretty clumsy at times. However, she is a dedicated and strong fighter in battle with a lot of experience.
(powerful) Venus Star Power!
I am Sailor Venus, and I shall punish you on behalf of Venus!
*sigh* That boy looks so cute.
This is a role that can be used for the creation of various titles, transitions, etc.
Say something you think would fit
This role involves localizing select episodes that we are planning to dub, writing down both the lines and inflections/emotions in the style of a movie script. The style and localization will be based off of the anime's official dub from the 1990s.
Say something you think would fit
This role primarily involves syncing the complete scripts to each scene, and then dividing the scenes up (i.e. into separate files, etc.) or alternatively declaring the timestamps of each scene for the voice actors and actresses to read and record.

Sailor Neptune or Michelle's voice is often gentle, smooth and relaxed, with one of the only exceptions being when she is in battle. Her voice is somewhat deep, but not as deep as Uranus' voice.
Things are never boring with you, Amara.
(commanding yet heroic tone) I'm Sailor Neptune, and I'm afraid you'll have to leave.
(powerful and building) Deep Submerge!
Outside of battle, Sailor Uranus, or Amara, has a deep, chill, laid-back voice in most situations, unless there is a conflict of sorts happening in an episode.

Make sure you pick at least one with a transformation or attack call/yell.
One of the recurring villains in the Sailor Stars season. She is often serious about her mission and battling, but she is also angry and fed up with certain things, especially with Sailor Aluminum Seiren, who goofs off occasionally during their missions. Her voice in our fandub is that of a serious, no-nonsense adult woman with occasional hints of deepness in their voice (range-wise).
Just watch and learn. Siren? (growing more impatient) Star Seed? Siren!
(deeper, calmer yet still evil tone) Hello, Sailor brats.
I’m busy getting all the work done and you’re not doing anything!
Seiren, or Siren, can be considered a klutz or not as serious as most villains are, even though she is a villain working with the more serious Lead Crow. In this fandub, she has a Southern belle accent, or an accent and tone similar to the female characters in Disney's "The Princess and the Frog."
I’m Sailor Aluminum Siren! Nice to meet you.
What? My mom told me it’s not to say hello to house guests. (with attitude) Well then, excuse me.
(slightly annoyed and/or a bit angry or frustrated) You were the one who picked this person! You were the one who brought me here! I didn’t do anything before I woke up!
Voice-wise, Hotaru is mysterious, mature and powerful when she is Sailor Saturn, despite her age and general appearance. She could also be considered somewhat mystical and surreal. As her normal self, she has a medium-high, cuter voice.
(cute, normal girl voice) Is that really you, Sailor Pluto?
(as Saturn) It's funny, isn't it? I've had this power since I was little.
(commanding tone as Saturn; threatening to attack villain) Enough! Stop this now, or you shall pay!
Sailor Pluto's voice and character is deep, melancholy, and very wise-spoken.
Only those worthy of admittance are allowed here! You are not worthy!
Beyond this door, an empty void, and beyond that, the Cosmic Time Warp.
(shouting) PLUTO...DEADLY...SCREAM!
