Project Overview


(If you're the kind of person skips over the description, PLEASE read the few dot points I've listed, it basically summarises everything.)


-MORE CHARACTERS ARE BEING ADDED.  Until the volume is over, I'll be adding more and more characters as new people appear in the show.


-The main characters will be casted on January 10.  This audition page will remain open till the end of the volume, incase new characters appear in the last few episodes.


-If you don't watch RWBY, please do not audition.


-Good mic quality is a must.


-All art in this (including the character photos, the project photo, and the profile picture) was done by Koyorin!


-Enjoy yourself!



Hey everyone! Since RWBY Volume 4 has begun, I'd like to be able to contribute to the fandom and make something for fans to enjoy.  I've decided to make a series :)  Lot's of voices are needed, and more will be added since the entire volume hasn't been posted yet.  Since this will be an abridged series, please, PLEASE keep in mind that there will be swearing and sexual jokes and so on.  Also, since there is many fight scenes in RWBY, you need to be able to do efforts (grunts, screams, and sounds of pain.)

  • Casting has started!

    Howdy doo, I'd like to let everyone know that casting has started!

    I went ahead and choose voices for Ruby, Weiss and Blake (actually blake was self-casted, because i'm that type of person.) As well as Jaune, Nora, Ren, Salem, Emerald, Mercury, Watts, Tyrian and Hazel.  Like I said I would.

    However, I'm a bit unsure about who I'd like to cast for Yang.  So I'm leaving her role open for a few days incase anyone wants to leap in last minute and wow me.

    I also decided to cast Whitley and Raven because I was really happy with the auditions.


    While I spend the next few days trying to finish some scripts, and choose more people, feel free to reaudition! Although I do already have people in mind for most of the remaining roles!

  • One day to go!

    Hey everyone!

    I'm just making a short update to let everyone know that a new role has been added, and that there's one day left till the main roles are cast!

    I will begin casting at 12am, Eastern Standard Time on the 10th.  I will be casting: team RWBY, team JNR, Salem, Emerald & Mercury, Watts, Tyrian and Hazel.

    The rest will remain open, but I could cast at any time.  Although the new role will not be cast for several days, or until I recieve a suitable audition.


    Speaking about the new role, Oscar has been added.  I won't be able to tell until the end of the volume if he'll end up having a big role or not.. But currently, he just pops up every now and again.  So keep in mind he's a bit of a minor role at the moment.


    In case anyone is curious, the new character from episode 9 (SPOILERS INCOMING), Ilia, the chameleon girl, will most likely not be added to this page.  Since it seems she'll have a very small role, she'll be voiced by a member of the cast or myself.

  • 7 NEW ROLES! (Also Qrow and Raven now have lines! Yay!)

    Howdy hey to everyone following the project!

    Since I'm currently on an overseas trip (holy shit london is cold), I haven't had much time to add characters or review auditions.  But I sat down today and finished up writing lines and descriptions, and added 9 new characters! Which are: Sun, Ozpin, QROW (Yes, about time, I know), Raven, Taiyang, Ironwood, Jacques, as well as two minor roles; Oobleck and Port.  

    Minor roles are the characters that appear only once, or barely at all (Such as the Higanbana waitness or the captain of the ship Blake was on.)

    Most of these will either be voiced by myself or a member of the cast, but some that have been bigger characters in previous volumes will have proper auditions.


    At the moment, RT has said we're about half way through the volume, so while the main cast will be chosen in January, I can't be sure if I'll actually be able to start producing videos until the volume ends.  So we'll just have to wait and see.

  • Yang and Blake Lines Added!

At this point, Blake is trying to hard to be an edgy, mysterious, tsundere.  She's acting like she's cool and chill, but she jumps every time someone startles her even slightly.  Blake is a bit quiet, so she might no have many lines.

Since Ozpin has only had one line in the volume so far, I can't be sure how big of role he's going to have.  But if he does show up, we're going to need a voice actor for him.  I'd like him to be an awful, irresponsible teacher, something like Dumbledore in floccinaucinihilip's Harry Potter comics (http://floccinaucinihilipilificationa.tumblr.com/)

For his voice, I'd like him to sound either like the original, or just throw any random voice at me (surprise me!)
