Rwby Reborn: Casting, Yang and Penny
Project Overview
Hello this is a casting call for a fan project called RWBY Reborn. (watch the explanation video) (THIS IS UNPAID no money is made from this)
Keep in mind if you audition this will be a long term role. The first season is meant to be 9 episodes. We are currently working on episode 6. If you audition it is expected that you will be able to voice your role for the rest of the season. Episodes will take a while to make as not only are we using footage from the original RWBY we are also animating new scenes.

Yang is one of the main characters so they will have a lot of lines but it will vary from episode to episode. Penny for the first season is only a supporting character so there will be some episodes where she doesn’t have any lines or very few lines.

Must have a discord (put it in your audition description)
Must be 16 or over the age of 16
Must be ok with swearing and hearing swears
Low background noise and a decent microphone
Synopsis of RWBY reborn:
RWBY Reborn is a rewrite of RWBY where After seeing her mother die at the hands of Salem Ruby unlocks her silver eyes early. Because of this Ozpin tries to recruit ruby into his inner circle but ruby refuses remembering her mothers last words telling her not to trust Ozpin. When Ruby turns 13 she disappears from her home and is missing for 2 years. During her travels she discovers how to control her silver eyes and who Salem is. armed with this knowledge, Ruby sets off on a path for revenge.
What to expect once casted: communication will be done through discord as that's where it's easiest for me. Once a script is done I'll send it to you with your lines highlighted on a Google doc. Once you receive the lines I would hope that you could get them recorded and send them to me within a month but if for some reason you can't just let me know ahead of time. After you send me the lines i will let you know if i want you to redo any of them.

Yang is Ruby's sister. she hasn't seen her sister in two years and wants to reconnect but ruby hates her after she joined Ozpin who Ruby blames for there mothers death. Yang is very protective of Ruby or at least tries to be. she is very fun loving and optimistic. unlike Ruby she doesn't blame Ozpin for her mothers death and wants to be part of his team to defeat Salem. unlike Ruby who believes she can do it alone.

Penny is a synthetic life form created for the atlas military. She is the first android with self awareness and an aura however the person who ordered her creation the commander of the atlas military General Ironwood only cared about her power as a weapon, he didn't care about her as a person and treated her more like a piece of equipment, for years penny felt like she was a pawn in a war that she had no stake in. That was until she met ruby someone who could understand what penny was going through.
