Project Overview

ARVHS: A Regretevator Horror Story was a short fan horror AU project I worked on based off of Regretevator back in June 2024. Since it's release on my YouTube channel, as of writing this, the original version had gotten over 13k views, with a LOT of positive attraction. This project alone got me from 50 subs to over 200 subs as of writing this.
Because of the OG project gaining a LOT of popularity in a matter of weeks, I've been making a remake of this project, deciding that I want to give this project more life, as it will have full fledged animation, more context, more lore accuracy, less plot holes, and with some new stuff too that I think will help a LOT with the remake, as well as some new OCs I made that I think would fit here too! ^^
Upon releasing the remake, even before then when I show promo, I want to be able to spread this fan project as much as I can to anyone in the Regretevator community who would take interest, FAR more than I did prior.
The story follows Connar, who's sad and alone, finally finds himself being friends with somebody, that being Melanie. it's been a long while since and they were setting up for a party happening tomorrow, before Connar wakes up to realize she's missing, so he takes himself to go find her.
But enough of that now, Let's talk about requirements

1. Have a good quality audio/microphone, even if it's a USB mic. Excessive peaking/clipping will deduct your chances.
2. Make sure you remove as much background noise possible before sending in your audition. Too much background noise can either definitely deduct your chances, or dismiss your audition altogether.
3. Slating your auditions is optional. I'd prefer you don't, but if that's something you're rather comfortable with, I cannot deduct your chances or dismiss your audition because of it.
4. Be able to range in a variety of emotions, they will come in handy for these roles.
5. If you can use discord, that's perfect, cause it's preferred. We will invite you to a discord server once you're chosen.
6. Be able to take part in this long-term, as it's potential a sequel could be made.
Story Plot:

Melanie is a canon character in Regretevator and a deuteragonist in ARVHS.
Melanie is a cheery anthro rabbit girl with a love for arts and crafts, while canonically she's best friends with Mozelle and close to Split and Pilby, in ARVHS, she's especially close to Connar, who is the main protagonist.
To audition for her, you must be comfortable with the following:

(content, happy) "I just wanted to say.. You are probably.. One of the coolest people I’ve spoken to so far.."
(raw, violent screaming) "NO!! PLEASE!! SPARE ME!!"
Madsen is an OC created for ARVHS, Madsen has no relations with anyone, aside from being Connar's former therapist.
Madsen is a shady individual, known for knowing far more about other people than they do about themselves. Should I mention nobody has seen behind his mask?

(wondering) “What's like.. the most distinctive thing you remember about them?”
(answering, remembering) "Hmm.. Probably the eye, that.. red glowing eye."
(concerned) "“Say, It’s been a hot minute since-”"
