Roadkillerz Pilot/Episode 0

Project Overview

"Roadkillerz" is a web series concept that takes place in the not-too-distant future of The United States, full of anthropomorphic characters. The two sides, The Roadkillerz (a small group of freedom fighters who are trying to make the world a better place) and The Wrath (an evil army lead by a wannabe dictator), fight each other as they attempt to maintain their territory. The show is intended for an audience of 16-18+ and may contain crude language and a little bit of violence (as a treat).

What I require (as of now) is a voice actor for a very minor role in the pilot. The main antagonist, Commander Grizzly, who actually only has 5 lines in the entire 10 minute runtime andisn't the main focus.

Character traits: Prideful, egotistical, loud, impulsive, intimidating, self-centered, evil, occasionally romantic,cowardly when faced with repercussions 

Requirements

  • The ability to produce a deep, masculine voice
  • A (tasteful) Spanish/Latin American accent
  • A decent microphone or recording area (I can edit out bg noise if you don't have the most expensive equipment)

I refuse to let you read off the material unpaid, so instead I will ask that you send me either a pre-made voice demo, or a recording of at least one of these sample lines (that will not be used in the final product)

Things to note:

  • I prefer to pay via Paypal
  • This will be a one-time gig UNLESS the performance of the pilot on Youtube exceeds 10k views
  • Once in contact, I shall send you everything you need (script, storyboards, character profile, etc) in order to do the best performance possible. 
  • I shall use the minimum payment of $50, although I am willing to pay a little more
  • When applying, be sure to let me know (if you get the role) how you would prefer to be credited!

  • Backgrounds done

    Spent roughly 2 weeks producing backgrounds for the project and will soon begin the actual animation part. Hoping to get everything completed by December 2022 at the earliest.

    Thank you all for applying for the role of Commander Grizzly! Although all of you were great and it was a very difficult decision, I had to chose somebody. Still keep on the lookout in case anymore roles open up in the future! I genuinely wasn't expecting so many submissions in a short amount of time and I am honored by the sheer amount of dedicated VAs alone. I wish the rest of you luck on future auditions! I'm looking for a deep, intimidating voice with a slight latin american flair. Don't worry about overacting either, the more dramatic the better.

  • (Happy, excited) "Samuel! You freaky little genius! You actually did it! For once I am not deeply disappointed in you!"

    (Sad) "I can't believe my plan failed...AGAIN! I can't keep doing this! Samuel, I need you to be honest with me. Do...do you think I'm pretty?"


  • (Evil, booming) "You fools! Once I have drained all the water in the world, I, Commander Grizzly, will control the earth's life essence and thus the world!! [optional evil laugh here]"

  • (Angry) "How DARE you insult me?! You will pay...you will ALL pay! Nobody makes a fool out of Carlos Rojas!"
