"Reservoir Reunion" (Comedy)
Project Overview
This is a short I wrote for a Second City class awhile back. This is a skill building / retention project for me.
It's a comedy about three sort of high school friends getting together on the anniversary of their prom night years later to relive what was a good time for all... well good for at least for two of them.
It's stupid/dark humor and should be finished by June if voice actors turn-around lines promptly.
It's about 6 pages and each part has some funny lines.
Has some profanity and adult discussions.
Please have quality equipment and recording space!!

Thank you!
I would like to thank everyone for their auditions for this piece! There were many hard choices to make as there were some great auditions. A lot of very talented people read for these 3 parts. One I thing I noticed from many of these auditions and I want to mention to help some of the voice actors- room noise and echo!! If you're not doing so- especially if you're a new voice actor, make sure you're listening to your readings with headphones on!! It makes a huuuuuge difference. You may give an amazing performance but if you have a weed eater in the background of your readings the audio is going to be unusable and it affects the decision. Some notes I give are things that I had to adjust about my own recording set up : -Have your mic no closer than your outstretched thumb to your outstretched pinky and no further away than about 30 inches away. -If your recording room is not sound treated please try to record under a blanket fort to cut back on room echo and other noises (it works better than you might think!) -If possible, be aware of noises such as computer fans or refrigerators as well as airplanes, traffic and such- try to work around them! If you haven't done this already give it a shot. See how it changes your recording quality! Better quality will mean more parts for most of you!! Again thank everyone for auditioning and please keep auditioning for other projects! I could hear a lot of talent in every voice I heard here and if ya'll keep auditioning you'll get roles in other projects!

It was alright. A lot of photo magic. But you know there’s nothing like staying somewhere without ruining water and electricity to remind you how much better America is than everywhere else!
You’re such a funny person! I thought that was a joke!
Hakuna Matata!
